Had a great afternoon with this couple- I'm shooting their wedding on Tuesday!
Used my color dazzler on this one! Loooved that wall. More pics on my blog :)
In 1984, artist J. Seward Johnson, Junior gifted “Photo Session” to Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver. It features 3 life-sized people posing for a photo with another bronze statue posing as the photographer.
This was my first maternity session, and we had so much fun! It was a first for all of us :) so we had to work through the first few minutes of being unsure, but as soon as we started discussing the new baby-to-be it was just fun and laughs and relaxed.
Edited in Lightroom. I'm working on creating my own presets, they're such time savers!
Went to Regent's Park recently to watch my duaghter and friends at a trepeze beginnners session.
Took this image and thought it would look good as a B&W silloette. Just desaturated and punched up the contrast in Lightroom.

my first ever session at a studio, be kind.
Light below bouncing off black background with blue gel, glasses resting on black perspex (sorry not sure of light type/power)
I noticed this was the d2x image ( I used both cameras) but the d200 is identical but I will repost.
We photographers always seem show to the end result: the ever-happy, so-peaceful, sleeping-baby shots. Here, the reality of a newborn session... :-)

The blue hour ruled at this hour over the Atlantic Ocean ... and it was about time that I found Ms. Krach so we could head back to the hotel there in Bar Harbor :))
Ms. Krach was reading her Kindle and enjoying the sounds of the ocean while waiting for me to complete my photo session there in Otter Cove. What a fine summer evening it was.

Had a senior session today. I thought it would be a re-schedule since it started hailing 30 minutes before the set up time. I had to reschedule it once already due to bad weather. Luckily it turned out to be a nice afternoon. My wife chipped in to assist. Many thanks to her and to the young lady who was patient with a long shoot. During our pre-session meeting she asked for a field of flowers, bare-foot, natural look. I think we got it. :) For the garage sale junkies out there, the chair with cushion cost me ten bucks last weekend. Score!

Maternity Session.
The second picture of the series. We tried something more creative this time and we did a session with one of the horses in the farm. This is the first time I tried something like this and I must say it was one of the most difficult and challenging experiences as a photographer to say the least. (the second one I would say is children as they are unpredictable too but at least you can negotiate with them).
The horse as you can imagine is not someone you can bargain so it will move up and down and eat anything it can. We had prepared some carrots for a positive feedback but still it was really difficult. We need more training on this aspect. But hopefully some of the pictures were decent.

This picture was taken at Praia do Bessa in João Pessoa (Brazil) during a shooting session during the sunset. It was shot with hand held camera and no flash and no other equipment, only using natural light and correctly adjusting the white balances as it was during the sunset and the sun was almost gone.
