Sentiment doux-amer à l’idée de quitter l’ISS. Quand on y pense, c’est vraiment un lieu magique, presque impossible à atteindre et qui vous donne des super-pouvoirs comme voler, ou faire le tour du monde en 1h30… Ça ressemble quand même un peu à un rêve éveillé... Je suis extrêmement reconnaissant envers toutes les personnes qui ont rêvé la Station spatiale internationale il y a 20 ans, et qui ont travaillé si dur pour transformer ce rêve en réalité, pour le bénéfice de tous. Voir ce que l’être humain peut accomplir quand il y met toute sa volonté, au nom de valeurs positives, ça donne foi dans l’humanité.
Bittersweet feeling to leave the International Space Station. When you think of it, it’s a magical place flying in the sky that is incredibly difficult to get to, and it grants you superpowers like floating and seeing the entire world in just one glance. If this is not what dreams are made of, you’ve never dreamt. I’m so thankful that people all around the world dreamt the Space Station, and then went out and worked so hard to build it, for everyone to benefit. Humankind at its finest. It gives me hope that humans can achieve anything, with good, positive intentions, when they really want to.

The promising beginning of a summer that I have no doubt will be well spent and well remembered. The sky has been so incredibly blue lately. It's hard not to get lost in it.
This shot was taken in Enkhuizen. My daughter changed her clothing for a old Dutch folklore costume.
She was walking around very proudly on Dutch wooden shoes and many tourists took a picture and giving her lots of compliments.
Of course, so did I ;-)

These words are on the outside of some new offices of Camden Council, a local authority for one of London's boroughs. The offices are located inside a major regeneration of an area in King's Cross. Camden Council has historically always leaned towards Labour.

O sentimento escolhido para novembro foi a tristeza. E como o Kyo conhece bem esse sentimento, ele foi o escolhido para fazer as fotos. Apesar de ser um dos meninos mais fofos, e extrovertidos da casa, Kyohei ainda tem alguns fantasmas do passado e sentimentos negativos não muito bem curados ( isso já foi revelado aqui ), então algumas vezes a melancolia bate:

Ok, I finally got around to putting together my remaining time lapse seqences.
These sequences were shot on August 5th, 6th and 3rd respectively.
The last one was my first attempt at capturing a sunset time lapse, I should have let it go on for longer. While I improved my technique for the other two, I think the sky was more spectacular on that first attempt. The video compression hasn't done this upload any favours but I think its viewable...
All 3 sequences were shot on a Nikon D700 and Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G at 14mm.

Harry havia preparado uma viajem, ele sabia que os dois precisavam disso, de um tempo só deles sem ninguém se metendo ou interferindo. Não foram para muito longe, mas o lugar era aconchegante, o clima frio os aproximava e o calor da lareira do aposento aquecia sua relação.
- Espero que nesse ano novo nosso amor só se fortaleça, sei que esse ano tudo foi complicado...
- Shiu.... não fale mais nada... foi um ano difícil para nós dois. – Ele a silenciando com um beijo.
Os flocos de neve caiam lentamente pela janela, como as barreiras e muros da incerteza que os dois criaram ao seu redor, ele sabiam que depois do inverno vinha a primavera, florescendo aquele velho sentimento que os dois cultivaram por tantos anos.

YES North East Fife organised a walk over the Tay Bridge from Newport to Dundee cuminating in a demo in the City Square. Speakers included Billy Kay, Lesley Riddoch and Robin MacAlpine. A pleasant way to kick of another general election campaign.
This was also taken on June 14, which is obvious, considering the sentiment printed on the sign at the left.
This was taken sometime before ten in the morning, so everyone was just getting warmed up. The media guys had shifted their positions so they could get shots of these signs. But this group was also showing their signs to the crowd out on Spring Street.
