Just another seed pod in the lotus pond, but it just looked like a screwed up, unhappy face, and I somehow thought of ET. (Someone else suggested "Seventeen Eyed Monster) I really like the texture of the face, and the details of the seeds.
Started to rain an hour or two before Glen Coe - never saw the mountains what with low cloud and sideways rain - very windy over the tops. Better later

Playing with Photoshop, I created a three deer tattoo on the bison.
It is rough, but only took about 5 minutes to do,
I have painted a few pictures recently although nothing with any real details - I started this one before covid so there was a few weeks delay in getting it completed
I made it up although the seven sisters on the south coast has a spot something like this but I did not look at any photographs or copy any buildings
Had a drive over to Wharfedale and Nidderdale but the sun wasn't out that much. Was going to shoot some film but never happened

I spotted this Red Shouldered Hawk in my neighbor's tree today. He was perched on a limb only 25 feet from the back door. I captured over 300 images as he preened himself. This was an unusual pose that exposed both his tail and wing feathers.
Off the beaten path on the way to Limni, Evia island.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Taken on the weekend of October 11th-12th, 2014 while my English wife Theresa Jane Brown and I were visiting friends.
