Seen on another return visit to the Japanese Garden at Mt. Coot-tha. Just a small part of this beautiful place.
Chaniwa (茶庭) or tea garden seen from the tea house in Furukawa Residence. It is a small garden in the large garden enclosed with bamboo hedge. Tea house is usually a wooden small house often modelled after farmer's residence to mimic a simple country life called Wabi-zumai (侘び住まい), which may have been a dream for those lived lives that were the opposite.
Green powdered tea (抹茶) was served in the tea house for $4, which was a price rather for this view.

Following it is 1959 built Foden S.21 8 wheel flatbed, Reg No. 4714 HX. Both vehicles were operated in W.J. Capper colours.
