So @oswinsadventures was super duper kind to help me buy a SDCC She-Ra doll during the black friday sales and sent her deboxed to me cuz that box was too big to even consider shipping to Australia lol.
And while I hold no nostalgia for She Ra I definitely think this is one the best doll sets Mattel has produced in such a long time. Thereās so many personal touches and care put into this doll I really hope @garrettsander and his team are able to make this line a reality.
If anyone knows me will know I will gripe about Mattel a LOT because the fact is, I KNOW theyāre capable of making good quality products like She Ra and thereās no real disappointments.
As for the doll herself, Iām really surprised how TINY her head is, itās a lot smaller than a majority of my 1/6th figures, but itās hard to capture that on camera. I adore her bigger feet and hands cuz it makes posing so much easier.
Her proportions are a bit weird because while her body is muscular, her torso is super petite. I can fit Momoko/Blythe sized items around her waist, but her bigger legs and arms fit an Original sized Barbie more so finding things that fit is hard cuz if it fits well on one part itās baggy or tight elsewhere.
Also her head is attached like a Create-a-Monster torso so head swapping is easy while her wrist posts are thinner than a Barbie or DC Super Hero girl.
But otherwise I really really really hope thereās a more readily available version of this doll or at least her body cuz itās so well designed and beautiful.

Heading back to the hotel after a long day at SDCC 2011. I made this costume from scratch from dyed leather, and had the metal pieces commissioned.
