Y para escuchar, no es que sea mi estilo, ni mi gusto precisamente pero esta canción me recuerda a un corazón solitario...

Firing the 4.6 round, integrally surpressed and adaptable for different operations.
Aparently trialled by UKSF, however no further orders have been made.
Just something to get the juices flowing.

SD6 Howell Block, 1891 (Designated)
34 - 36 Main St. S.
This block initially consisted of a series of frame buildings housing several businesses. The stone portion, which was added in 1891 by Jonathan Howell, provided a drugstore, dry goods/millinery shop, newspaper/printing office and a lawyer’s office. In 1924, the stone building was purchased by a group of local people to hold in trust for a community hall. Since then, it has housed the post office, library and space for community groups. Presently, it is the home of the South Dumfries Historical Society.

Static displays at the British Grand Prix are usually abysmal and this year, once again, was no exception to the rule. However, the local constabulary make a good attempt to make up for it.
For a couple of years Northamptonshire Police and the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) had a brilliant display of vehicles on show for the spectators.
Unfortunately, last year they were notable by their absence. Thankfully in 2019 they were back and as good as ever!
Amongst a fleet of vehicles parked up alongside the old start/finish straight was this Land Rover Discovery demonstrator vehicle that is currently on trial with Northamptonshire Police.

First flown with the temporary Short Brothers registration G-14-3077, this aircraft was delivered to Inter City Airlines as G-BJFK in Sep-81. It was leased to BMA British Midland Airways in Oct-81 and they bought it in Aug-83.
It was sold back to Short Brothers in Mar-84 and leased to AirUK in May-84. Returned to Shorts in Jan-85, it was stored until it was leased to Spacegrand Aviation Services in Apr-85. They sub-leased it to JEA Jersey European Airways in Oct-85.
It was leased to National Airways in Jul-87. Spacegrand sold it to Fairflight Leasing in Oct-87 while the lease to National Airways continued. It was returned to Fairflight Leasing in Apr-89 and immediately leased to Air Europe Express.
The aircraft returned to Short Brothers in Jan-90 and was stored at Exeter, UK. It was leased to Snunit Aviation (Israel) in Jul-91 as 4X-CSP and sold to Emek Wings in 1993. Emek Wings was renamed Israir in Jul-96.
It moved to the USA in May-97 when it was sold to General Aviation Services Inc as N390GA. In Apr-98 it was sold to Air Cargo Carriers Inc. The aircraft was converted to Short Sherpa standard in 2015 and was noted in transit through the Isle of Man and Coventry in Oct-15.
It was en-route to Dubai, UAE on delivery to Dubai Skydive where it was registered DU-SD6. It was withdrawn from use and stored at Dubai in 2018. Updated 02-Apr-25.
I made my way back to Bakewell, mainly to catch the school time departures there (I had finally planned a day out in term time !), but I was also just in time to catch some chicken buses making their way back to the factory. A few weeks earlier, I had caught XMS 500K leaving this car park, but today it was the other one of the pair, and they were in their last few weeks working from this site, before moving down to the parent operation at Craven Arms.
XMS 501K would follow its twin to Guide Friday in 1989, but whereas 500 became an open-top bus in Oxford, 501 stayed as a closed-top bus in Cambridge.

Short 330-200 ‘G-BJFK’ of British Midland Airways.
Built in 1981 with c/n SH.3077, she was delivered new to Inter City Airlines as G-BJFK. She remained as G-BJFK while flying for British Midland Airways, Air UK, Jersey European Airways, National Airways and finally Air Europe Express. In July 1991 she became 4X-CSP in Israel, firstly with Snunit Aviation, Emek Wings and then Israir. In May 1997 she went stateside as N390GA and flew with Air Cargo Carriers until offered for sale in August 2018. She is now registered as DU-SD6 with SkyDiveDubai, but has been listed for sale.
Behind is Vickers Viscount 724 ‘G-BDRC’ of Guernsey Airlines, which carries the name “Sarnia II”. Built in 1955 with the c/n 052, she was first operated by Air Inter as F-BMCG. Bought by Alidair in October 1975, she soon became G-BDRC and was then leased out to Intra Airways, Dan-Air London, Guernsey Airlines, Inter City Airlines and finally Janus Airways.
Retired in April 1984, she joined the Central Training Establishment of the Air Force Fire Service at RAF Manston and her remains were finally broken up in August 1993.
Also visible in the background are a British Air Ferries Viscount and Britannia Airways Boeing 737-200

We are approaching tender termination time on some Waltham Forest routes. CT Plus lose the 212 and the normal fare on the route are Scania Omnicities. SD6 is seen near Chingford Hatch on the way to St James St Station.
Note also the CT Plus minibus working on Waltham Forest community transport schools service following behind.

Seen turning at the top of Walthamstow Bus Station is CT Plus SD6. This Scania Omnicity is on the 212 to Chingford.
Scania Omnicity N230UD with Liberty Bus part of CT Plus. Transferred from CT Plus London where it was recently repainted then refurbished with wood effect flooring, leather seating and luggage racking. Seen here at Liberation Station where it has just arrived on a 22 and is now ready to go out on the inter-working 14 service.
This vehicle was new to CT Plus London as SD6 / YR59 NPJ.
I had a dinner with the Agency where they discussed this list of needed innovations from entrepreneurs. So I felt inspired to take a spy shot of the collateral...
One agent had just arrived in from Pakistan, another told older “war stories” from India, and a third relayed cute stories of how he used a vast array of spook technologies to try to track the whereabouts of his 15-year-old daughter. When she got a Mac, and listened for interference in the FM band, she was able to evade almost all of them (data logger in the Palm Pilot battery; tracker in the iPod leatherette case, GPS phone under seat of car, spyware on PC). I had to ask if he was from SD-6.
The first speaker was fumbling with his lapel mic:
“Um, I’m not used to speaking in front of microphones that I can see.”
“I don’t think I have ever received a polite phone call. It’s usually ‘Hey, you twinks…’”
“We basically stopped hiring for a ten year period. Now we have an old cohort and a bunch of new guys.”
“The Soviets moved slowly and predictably. They were great. It took them a great effort just to synchronize their clocks.”
“We have 35 power experts. They do nothing but power.” (I noticed that the energy signature of data centers and devices is the new give-away signal of espionage – versus an information signature)
“The Agency is scared of the Internet.”
