Now for late March, to get a 6:45pm sun perfect shot with dark menacing skies in the background is quite something...the harsh late sun light is exactly why the bus looks so orange instead of red!

This vehicle is ex-Quality Line SD43.

The 542 route moves to EOS London from 10th April as part of the latest ECC tender awards.

Leading a few northbounds, C710-11 passes through Cartersville with the SD40-3 #4384 leading the intermodal heading toward Chatsworth, Georgia. and the inland port.

Just about describes the state of High Speed Rail in this country. I wonder how this got here.

Former Quality Line Enviro 200 SD43 PE56UFH now in use with Trustybus and seen in Waltham Cross

Not sure what the problem was but the bus had been working the 410A from Harlow and while I is was there I noticed Trusty had pulled in their Mercedes Vario/Plaxton on that route. I hazard a guess that it was a tyre problem but whatever the problem Trusty seemed to be well on top of it.

This is the updated information after Glenn's note see below and I can confirm Glenn is right because of an earlier shot I took had PE56 UFH in the same parking slot as you can see in my picture. Another difference is that the bus has a dual door which does tend to give the game away.

History:

This bus was registered in February 2007 by HR Richmond Ltd. Epsom with a fleet no. SD43 and worked under the livery of Quality line arriving at Trustybus October 2014.

Registration no. PE56 UFH

Chassis: ADL Dart 4

Body: East Lancs Esteem

Low Floor Bus

25 Seats

Dual door

As a result of bridge replacement works at Streatham Common there are route changes in the area. A free shuttle service is provided from the west side of Streatham Common station to Pollards Hill on route 560. Quality Line have the short term contract and their SD43 was on the service today. It's an East Lancs bodied Dennis Dart.

Seen at Beddington, 2nd April 2013. Odd on Route 463.

Standard cab yard switchers. The small letters & numbers under 2431 on the cab side look to say SD43-2. GP40-2-6080 is trailing.

Sutton Stn,Sutton,5th March 2012, Noted on the S1 Svs to Banstead

Just on dusk, passengers wait at the Banstead Village to board Quality Line's SD43, working a Banstead to Mitcham S1service via Sutton on 19 January 2010.

I made my second ever trip to Banstead yesterday, and was hoping to see a 420 during my brief visit.

I got more than I bargained for when I saw three at once - all different bus types, too!

Metrobus Scania OmniCity 953 had broken down on a Sutton-bound journey, and just after I alighted from the 166, Dart 361 turned up to rescue it. Then the next Sutton-bound 420 turned up in the hands of OmniDekka 486!

That gave an indication as to how long ago 953 had stopped, so it wasn't a surprise Dart 361 took over by heading back towards Rehill and Whitebushes.

Here 361 is seen making that move - in the company of Quality Line SD43 (PE56 UFH).

Of course, the 420 was extended from Rehill to Whitebushes Estate from 25th May 2013, meaning the 'traditional' Redhill display is not common in Banstead anymore.

High Street, Banstead, Surrey.

Quality Line SD43 on route S1 towards Banstead is seen at Sutton Green 30/05/12.

On 2nd April whilst trying to find SD43 on the 463, amongst the bad traffic, I thought I'd get some shots of the area I live in.

Found a new Sea Dweller! Stoked!

Quality Line SD43, an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Dart/ East Lancs Esteem, in Sutton on the S1 to Banstead.

As the train approaches the switch into the siding the conductor - in the ever present pick up truck - tells the engineer, "You have some photographers up here". His reply, "They have been following me all the way from the mine." Indeed we have, but now it's time to head home. Hope you enjoyed the trip.
