My voice falls silent on deaf ears

The words felt unspoken

Moments pass like years

In a world filled with silent screams

Can you hear my truths

Can you see my cuts

In a world filled with silent screams

I hear you....

The sound of screaming followed by laughter could be heard through the amusement park. Some riding the roller coaster were screaming, some riding the merry-go-round were laughing-screaming (You know when you are screaming but it is more like a happy scream? I know you get it!)

Then, there is another type of screaming; The silent type. The one that is hidden deep within the dusted corners of your heart, numbed up by the mind that refuses to acknowledge it. Anger that turns into rage which ultimately explodes. Most do not understand how long it was bottled up that when it was time to address it, there was no chance to minimize the debris.

Being misunderstood is the saddest silent scream ever. When perceptions are made final with no room to understand that perhaps it is not just because she didn't like something, what if it was something she was constantly being given that she reached a boiling point and was fed up of accepting it, finally?!

Yet, they will say the same thing over and over again, "You hurt, you rage." Never looking deeper into the reason of "Why?"

As seen on a misty morning walk.

During a trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, I found myself entranced by the variety of beautiful flowers. One morning as I wandered around a garden, I could swear I heard small voices calling out in a high pitched register. Following the noise, I discovered these small faces looking right at me. It was an Alice in Wonderland moment, to be sure! It seemed best to capture a few images and quickly be on my way. ;)

One of the most funny birds are the Guineafowls. They have an extremely small head, a body like a ball and a beautiful spotted plumage. Their voice is really strange, and they LOVE to scream. I tried to take some photos of them, and this one is the only sharp one. All others are blurred because I couldn't stop giggeling. I must say I fell in love with these amazing birds!

She was not happy with me, so I didn't get closer. Very protective of the eaglets in the nest. She left the nest and dad showed up too; they flew around and mum was making chuk-chuk noises. I did manage to swallow a bug, get half a dozen mosquito bites and was covered with no-see-ums before I left the area...Undisclosed location near Minto.

This is my blue parrot called "Blue" as she's blue.

She's a female parrot 🐦

She had a parrot bath this morning. Just sticks her head into a bowl of water and shakes, and can wash whole her body. Amazing but very efficient. You can never do that.

She was an escaped bird. She flew into our yard in April 2014.

She was so hungry and miserable, so we gave her budgie's food and she followed us.

I still remember the date as it was in the Easter Holiday period and the day after she flew in, she opened a tight plastic container with full of small Easter chocolate bunnies and stole one. When we realised she was already eating it.

We never expected such an event and it was very shocking😱 as chocolate is highly toxic for your birds, dogs, cats, and most of the animals as well as human (eating too much, you'll become like me 😄)

We looked for her owner using from telegraph pole posters to all the social media tools, such as lost and found animal search sites, Facebook, etc. I even uploaded her video on Youtube.

Then very bad bad guy from Western Suburb claimed Blue was his bird but obviously not. He just thought she was very cute in the video.

Anyway, we couldn't find the owner and she is still with us.

Now she is very lonely and getting older and older. We're trying to find her boyfriend from a local breeder. We have to make sure he is definitely a boy 🐥🐦

*I just grabbed the camera and took her quickly. The lens is from yesterday's flower shoot. I didn't have a time to change the settings (AV, f/3.5, ISO: Auto), so it looks a bit funny. If you find a flower photo with the same camera and lens somewhere else it's probably me.
