We're now inside Toledo Union Station, looking at part of the equipment set of NTD 2016 which is getting ready to be picked up by one of the eastbound Amtraks to be taken east. It feels lonely to see so many platforms dark and empty; this place has surely seen better days.
Lately I've been leaving work late (around the 7pm mark) but today I managed to leave at 5.50pm so woot! Not too sure whether it's much of an improvement since the stress you get when leaving around that time is pretty hectic. Tube is always packed and intense! Sometimes I do enjoy leaving later just so I dont get all this hassle but obviously that means less time at home! Ah well.
I've been using the graphics tablet to do photo editing and it's definitely hard getting used to but all kinds of fun! The vignetting here was made by a filter on my lens, I just boosted the shadows in the curves to make it more vignetty. Work shots are typically moody... I wonder what that says about my outlook in work (even though I actually enjoy it haha)

Ok snagged a quick nest-shot before I scrammed. This was intrusive; I normally just leave when the birds make it clear I'm on their patch.
You can see papa-bird on the beam, and mama-bird is visible in the nest, although if you look at it too fast it just looks like Todd Rundgren is peeking out. I see Todd Rundgren in a lot of my images, tbh.

TA crank, Campy front mech., Shimano XT rapid rise rear mech, Nine speed Campy cassette, and SCRAM chain. What a mixed up drive train, but I highly recommend it.

A blend of apple juice, spirulina, and banana from the wildly popular The Natural Sisters Cafe. I had a Vegan Scram bowl as well. That was really good with ample hot sauce.

Looks like the Parks Dept had been breaking the ice for the birds. They were all concentrated in this small area fighting for bread from those who were throwing it.
