An attempt to make the tree monster (in with the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine set) more like a tree! Love the scary face, even it's only a sticker!
The members of the Mystery Inc. are chasing some spooky creatures. But look, they aren't real monsters! The giant tree is RC controlled by a guy next to the haunted house. And the ghosts of the house, these are just white clothes moved on strings by the baron on the balcony. The evil knight is also just a man in costume, just like the dark green swamp monster and the zombie guy. Or, the girl dressed like an old light tower guard.
But if you look closely, there are some true mystery should be solved by the gang.
1.) Can you find the huge zombie cat? What is this? :)
2.) Look inside the cave! There is an other lake monster eating raw fishes.
3.) Do you see the skeleton's head crash the side of the grave? Is this may true or just a trick?
I guess you could say this isn't in my usual style of cake! I don't think I've done a cake this bright or busy before! The design is loosely based on a picture the customer gave me, with my own slant on it. I don't know where the pic came from, so can't credit the original I'm sorry. The main request was that it have Scooby popping out, be in the correct colours (green, blue and orange!) and that it have bones on the side! My son will be at Jayden's party tomorrow, so will get to have a piece! It's chocolate mud with dark chocolate ganache.
This cake presented me with problems I've not encountered before...HUMIDITY!!! We have had non-stop torrential rain in Sydney for about a week now, and it caused me nightmares with this cake! I really couldn't use my smoothers at all, and despite it ending up looking OK, I'm not overly happy with the finish.
This is ScoobyDoo our American Eskimo he's 7yrs old. About 2 months ago we thought we were going to lose him as he had stopped eating and was rapidly loosing weight and only wanted to sleep. This happened in a short period of about 1-2 weeks. We took him to the Vet and they discovered that he has Canine Diabetes. ScoobyDoo is much better now with the exception that he is now blind as a result of the disease. We have him on a special diet and give him insulin injections twice a day. We're just glad that we still have him here with us! We had to put down our beautiful Black Lab named Niki withing 2 or 3 months prior to this happening to ScoobyDoo.
It looks like the Mystery Machine from the Scooby Doo series has been hoisted up on massive tires!
Taken in northwestern Alabama.
I happened upon this artisits blog that originates from Latin America and boy am i glad i did..is this amazing or what? i did however add the spots to his cape, as the artist left them off.

I can do a whole essay on Velma vs. Daphne, sort of equivalent to Mary Ann vs. Ginger. Daphne/Ginger represents the unattainable and Velma/Mary Ann the down-to-earth, very gettable. And she doesn't think of herself as sexy, which in and of itself, is very sexy. (irony!)
Daphne's only going to break your heart, guys, and you know it.
When I heard the theme was cartoons, I instantly though of Scooby Doo because it was like my childhood. So here we have Lucy, as an edgy and more fashionable Daphne! I hope you enjoy this enough to keep me.
Lucy: "Oh fuck. So basically I love Scooby Doo, and getting to do Daphne in my style was also so fun! I had a pretty great week last week, I came out to everyone as my true self and I got top photo with one of my best bitches (Maxine being #1), Jenny!!! So great HA!"

I seriously had so much fun with this one! It was a blast from the past and I got a kick out of it. The scooby and mystery machine are gumpaste plaques and the guy on top is molded fondant.
This is a rare hand-painted publicity cel used in the marketing efforts for this show, featuring Scooby's team, The Scooby-Doobies. On an interesting note, Jeannie is present here as a member, though she didn't appear in the show itself for legal reasons.

Or something along those lines...
Still no Clyde... So far EVERY single house in our neighborhood has been covered. Every mailbox has his picture on it. Every neighbor is aware of his absence. We wonder if someone has him and just doesn't want to give him back....
I guess we shall see..
