Architects have been Scifi twenty years ago. We just didn't recognize how far they are ahead. Hard to catch up
Just re-rendering some older models, since the original renders weren't able to properly capture the trans neon-orange.
Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted in several months. Between finishing my last weeks at school, and a few other things, I've hardly had time to build anything. I've got a vehicle I hope to post sometime soon (no promises) but I'll try.
Anyhow
Dive Nurse: working in the illegal SimSense dens of downtown, she spends her time monitoring the life support and activities of the inhabitants who are hooked up to the highly immersive VR.
Drone Security Guard:
This simple AI driven machine completes it's rounds at a mega-corporation's headquarters, armed to the teeth with it's issued weapon, and it's shoulder mounted missile payload. It may just be security, but you aren't going to have an easy time getting past it.
- this picture didn’t show it very well, but the idea behind the missile pod on the shoulder is that it's on a motorized arm, and has a targeting system either in the head area of the drone or an independent unit on the pod itself. It doesn't pack a big explosion, usually just a flash bang, but military models commonly have more lethal ordinance loaded inside. I’ll post a better picture of it sometime.

I've been getting a lot of unknown views suddenly on this photo again, can someone please write what website you are visiting from? Just curious. Thank you.
I love how all these new curved pieces complement each other. Halfway through building I noticed that the outline looked a little like a horseshoe crab, hence the name.
My computer crashed a few days ago and while I'm recovering data, I've got plenty of time to build. I have to make do without my trusty paint 3d (*cough*) and even opening an image takes 10 seconds on this old notebook but at least the creative juices are flowing.
"I've thought I've dove down into the deepest parts of the shadow.net... but this is beyond even that. I'm still processing the fact that I practically walked right into Hell itself. I watched a powerful engram entity overpower a couple of the best netrunners I've seen on the net and I can't believe I was even able to walk in and out of here. Heaven Inc. used this net as a dumping ground of engrams they had no use of and I could hear their screams and voices each time I was here... I could even see their digital images make up the floor beneath my avatar's feet... Soon I'm making my way back with the hopes I don't gain a bit of cyberpsychosis out of it..."

This temporary build has also been brought to you by the awesome Vincent/Nadir!
Come for neon, stay for the intrigue!
this is a short film i made i also put the Xfiles theme music on it because the music is associated with aliens and i have and alien in it.
The second stage
It slithers awake
Twisting inside
Its fingers writhe
The ovomorph opens slow
Like a macabre flower unknown
From within the black
It now attacks
Hugged around your face
Lungs can't stand the strain
Forceful insemination
Mankind's annihilation
FACEHUGGER!

This is Part 2 of an alien trilogy set of photos...you can see part one Here! and stay tuned for part 3!
I wanted to use these categories to explore the theme of dystopian change over time. The height of human achievement, the iron rule of a despot, and the unavoidable destruction of everything we hold dear.

Started with a way that I could get a shoulder system to hold a heavy arm and the rest evolved from there. Form follows function.
Palisade cruisers formed the backbone of Blocktron security forces operating over Ophlinus. As the nature of threats across Imyr shifted from small pirate raids to major corporate conflict, the versatile vessels saw extensive refits to extend and adapt their service.
I ended up making a bunch of custom sticker designs for the Hibernia scene. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to render those large, curved-top panels correctly here. The white stripes should have a clear gradient to them that trails off to translucent at the top and bottom of each sign. That effect can be seen in the facades breakdown and somehow worked out properly in the final scene too. I guess you win some, you lose some.
The 'BIG FIG' sign is definitely my favorite of the bunch. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be too clear but I think it worked out fine for the final scene. The 'VITA RUSH' sign was fun to design. I tried to take a slightly sci-fi spin on the original logo and I added a juice effect courtesy of one of the Monkie Kid stickers. I probably could have spent more time on the middle two large signs but they aren't visible in the final so its ok by me.
...for the 1001st time, but why not?
