Hi everyone, I'm very happy to have finished this MOC on the Mass Effect universe! Soon there will be photos of M-35 itself.
Everyone knows Greebles don't grow on trees, they're produced by textury secretions from the Greeble Bee!
--
Had fun at BrickCan on the weekend, where I was introduced the AFOB Life. The task at hand was to make _____ Bee. So I choose the humble Greeble Bee that makes us our Greebles.
The hardest part was actually making the greebles in orange to match the yellow/orange honey comb logo from the bee keeper CMF. Orange is not a good greeble colour :P

A small project for the Christmas holidays - I made some rock formations to add to my wargames scenery collection. They should work with a range of desert of sci-fi/fantasy settings.
Simple to make; they're just small pieces of cork tile glued together, with some scenic effects applied.
They're pictured here with Martian warriors from Black Hat Miniatures. The figures are 15-18mm tall.

My favourite Sci-fi atm..next to Babylon 5.I've just finished season 1 and will be on season 2 tonight.Does anyone else like this one? i have a theory on it.I think everyone on board is a fracking Cylon lol...And the Cylons themselves are also Cylons that are yet to evolve.I could be wrong though hahaaha..

So I'm sitting in an expensive movie and beautiful theater on vacation in Kansas watching Oblivion, and I see the Bubble VTOL flying through clouds. I said to myself I have to build this, and starting working on design ideas immediately. However I soon lost myself in the extremely awesome and complex plot. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it, and Tom Cruise performed brilliantly. Its definitely my favorite Tom Cruise film.
A big thanks to Evan (Lego Junkie) for giving me a couple of great suggestions.
Perhaps the only big inaccuracy on this compared the real deal is there are no guns on the cockpit. I'm just enough of a Lego genius to figure out how to do that...wait, I might have some idea..oh well!

This will be displayed at Brickfair Virginia.
Enjoy and God Bless!
Hello guys, I'm just finding tune with my HDR skills. Still very unrealistic, I wanna go for the natural HDR appeal but I guess the overtly details enhancer is so tempting. This was taken as test shots when I first got my S5 IS, hence the annoying handshakes hehe. I think architecture ain't my niche but heck, I'll give it a shot.
PS: I need a crash course on strobing

I couldn't think of any way to use this guy in a scene and still show off the curves properly so here is the next best thing. Started as a straight modeling of this model by Paul Pepera but I decided to branch away from the tug design partway through. I used the dual bumpers from the linked renders as a basis for the Guppy mod.
I have been trying to figure out other things to stick on the front of this vehicle. An arm could work but I have a lot of those already. Also, this model seats a minifigure with ample room for a headpiece too.
And the stern is the centerpiece here

This type of walking transporter was used in spaceports across the galactic disc. They were common sight and often loaded with palettes of light cargo, such as fuel canisters.
In countless big cities across the Galactic Federation, especially in hive-cities with complex system of highways and smaller roads, the problem of traffic congestion and a high number of accidents is especially acute. So in some those cities personal cars was replaced by an automatic taxi system. It is made up of millions of public cabs that do not require a driver to operate and can operate on dedicated traffic lines as well as on numerous small branches off major highways.
These electric vehicles do not have a rear or front and move in both directions equally quickly, which greatly simplifies city traffic and does not waste time on turning. Also, the salon is pressurized and even has life support systems, thanks to which these cabs can be used in cities with the most unfavorable ecology or on the surface of planets where there is no breathable atmosphere. Due to the fact that all cabs are controlled by automatics and connected to a single network, the accident rate of this type of transport is minimized.
P.S. Only after hour long rendering I noticed that cars "levitating" above the ground. And I'm too lazy to re-render it. :P
