This was my first visit to the Oakland Zoo. One of many things I have on my “bucket list”. It was a very nice drive. The location is tucked away into Oakland Hills and provides absolutely gorgeous view of the city. There are large spaces for the animals to roam about. On the day of our visit although we arrived early many of the animals were “resting” and were out of sight. All in all it was a great visit and I enjoyed seeing the animals. I will return and hopefully catch more of the animals up and about.
