It was the opening ceremony of Super Bowl City in SF downtown. Beautiful projections on two buildings near the bay.
They did lit up with Congrats Broncos! LED lights to these buildings after the game.

The Bay Area hosted the 50th Super Bowl, bringing lots of festivities to the city over the entire week last week. Here's the fireworks show to mark an end to the day's celebration!
It's also the Lunar New Year today, so Happy Year of the Monkey! May the New Year brings you and your family peace and happiness!
Super Bowl City
The beacon light was on tonight for the Super Bowl event. It was the first time to see they lit up the Transamerica building with red light :) The mini star was so bright that you can see the water reflection of it. It is part of the super bowl city night colors view. I will share more photos later. I did not make it to the fireworks last night. What a beautiful mini star of the bay!

When #SB50 was in town, they lite up the TransAmerica building for the first time i've seen. This is shot from Clay Street up on Nob Hill right after the SuperBowl game was complete.
There is certainly no shortage of firework images over San Francisco from this past week, but hey there is only one Super Bowl 50, and any photographer living in the Bay Area just has to get a few shots of this historic event. I will most likely not see another Super Bowl event in San Francisco again, so I'm glad I was able to get some images.
I really enjoyed the city's transformation into "Super Bowl City." It would be nice to see SF doing a little more of this lighting on the city.
I had a great time with Nick Steinberg and friends last Friday roaming the hills of Yerba Buena Island.

Another Super Bowl 50 related photo of San Francisco city hall. One of my favorite spots to shoot the city hall colors is on the "other side". I'm unsure if the blue streak was on purpose or a mistake. I'm betting the latter. #sb50 #superbowl50
They turned on the bay light about 7:25pm and the fireworks 7:30pm.

Morning blue of the Ferry building tower before 7:00am. The water reflection of the light after the rain was magical view with this point view ;) They have the 50 to replace the 1915 for the Super Bowl 50. The lucky snapshot of the morning this time.
