ROSARIO DE LA AURORA. 12 de octubre de 2008, 05:00h - Desde la Parroquia de San Pablo hasta la Basílica del Pilar.
Este acto religioso congrega cada madrugada del Día del Pilar a centenares de fieles que, herederos de una tradición centenaria, realizan el recorrido que separa la Iglesia de San Pablo de la Basílica del Pilar. El tradicional Rosario de la Aurora es una celebración religiosa de la que se tienen noticias desde el siglo XVIII. En el Libro de Actas de la Cofradía del Santísimo Rosario de Nuestra Señora del Pilar aparece una nota del 3 de julio de 1756 en el que se hace referencia a una solicitud presentada por María Velilla. En ese documento, solicitaba permiso al Cabildo para, junto a seis personas más, rezar antes del alba del Día del Pilar un rosario en la Santa Capilla, saliendo al exterior del templo en los últimos misterios.

This photo was taken during the Diocesan Easter Pilgrimage of the altar servers of the Diocese of Kalookan through the initiative of the Ministry of Altar Servers of the San Roque Cathedral. This is my best photo of the Virgen since my devotion to her was born. Viva La Virgen!

LA NAVAL at UST 2010
Our image of the Nuestra Señora del Santísimo Rosario - La Naval visits our alma mater, the University of Santo Tomás for a third time. The first two were in 1993 and in 1994 during the time of Dr. Lourdes J. Custodio as Dean and Rev. Fr. Franklin Beltran, OP as Regent.
As in previous times, she was enthroned at the Chapel of the College of Education where a floral offering was held as well as daily rosaries and prayers. A special feature of the visit is an exhibit in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Instead however of inviting her various images, art works made by the students to showcase their talent was mounted.
The event is under the auspices of the Pax Romana - Education High School Unit and the Religious Education Majors in cooperation with the Pax Romana Education Unit of the University of Santo Tomás - the Pontifical, Royal and Catholic University of the Philippines.

Notice the countless lights which illuminates the image of La Gran Señora de Filipinas.
Ang lumang larawang ito ay sa pangangalaga ni Eladio de la Ysla Domanillo ng Buting, isang mandarasal at manananayaw ng Poong Sta Marta. Ang larawng ito ng antigong Poon ay dating hawak ni Hermano Crispin Manzana ( born ca. 1920) na isa ring mandarasal at mananayaw ng poong mahal. Ang pinanggalingan naman ay ang kanyang lola na diumano ito ay bigay noong ca 1905 na kaunaunahang pagkakataong pinagdiwang ang fista ng Sta Marta sa simbahang Pateros. Datirati kasi ay ito ay pista lamang sa Barrio Aguho. Nang dumami na ang devoto at nagsasadya sa Pateros at napupuno ang kapilya ng Aguho ay minabuting inilipat ang misa sa simbahan ng Pateros sa kabayanan na hanggang ngayon ay siya nang tinuturing na Pistang Bayan ng Pateros ang ikalawang Linggo ng Febrero..

The Santo Rosario de la Naval de Santa María sits majestically again on her carroza tríunfal in front of the Parish Church of Santo Niño de Ternate at the end of the Pontifical Mass presided by His Excellency Most Rev. Manuel C. Sobreviñas, DD, PhB, STD, Bishop Emeritus of Imus, Cavite.
The procession is led by San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila, of Ternate, Cavite then followed by San José of the Familia Tengco and finally by the festejada, Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
The solemn procession highlights the last day of the visit in honor of the Centennnial of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary - La Naval de Manila.
