Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. This was one of the first nature shots I'd taken, and is really a showcase of what not to do when taking a shot like this! For example, subject is perfectly centered, which can be good, but not really in this case. Also, there's nothing to give the rock a sense of scale, like a person standing next to it. But the colors are nice and the perspective is cool.

Churchill class HMS Courageous in No3 dock at Devonport Dockyard.

This photo is very likely within the first 50 taken in my brand new 2007 Nikon Coolpix S50. I didn't practice using it and got caught here. Super grainy and blurry. Date stamp still on also. Ugh.
