Aurora (Russian: Авро́ра) is a 1900 Russian protected cruiser, currently preserved as a museum ship in Saint Petersburg. Aurora was one of three Pallada-class cruisers, built in Saint Petersburg for service in the Pacific. All three ships of this class served during the Russo-Japanese War. Aurora survived the Battle of Tsushima and was interned under US protection in the Philippines, and eventually returned to the Baltic Fleet.

The Baroque-style palace set amidst a picturesque forested park was completed in 1725 on the orders of the Russian Emperor Peter I for Catherine I, his wife and future Empress; however, she never stayed there. At this time the palace functions as an art museum.

Trinity Cathedral is the tallest building in Pskov. It rises up to 78 meters.
According to legend, the first wooden cathedral was built here in the reign of Princess Olga, around 957. In 1138, during the reign of Prince Vsevolod-Gabriel, revered by the Pskov people, a stone cathedral was laid. Today's fourth cathedral building was built in 1699.

It is the best known of kremlins (Russian citadels) and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. The Russian Orthodox St. Mary Magdalene Church in Weimar was built between 1860 and 1862 as a burial chapel for the Russian Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna. It is located in the Weimar Historical Cemetery, directly behind the princely crypt, and is connected to it underground.
