The first picture of this series shows the egrets enjoying the rice field by themselves But when people, animals and machines come, the fields are worked to produce rice for the millions of people of India.

Like it is on all trips and safaris, one must move on. I could have lingered in Ranthambhore forever trying to find the illusive tigers and leopards.I knew though that the Thar desert was one of my final destinations.
To proceed there, one must do several days of road trips stopping at historic cities which is one of my favorite things to do. I love seeing the countryside of a country I am visiting and seeing the colorful locals. Isn't he wonderful?
