This postage stamp (= Stanley Gibbons Catalogue # 63) was issued on 27 January 1966 by Fujeira, which is located in the eastern Arabian Peninsula. Fujeira is both a city and a country (also referred to as an emirate, a sheikdom, a Trucial State, and a confederation). In modern times, it is part of the "U.A.E." = the United Arab Emirates. Fujeira formerly issued many postage stamps in the 1960s and 1970s, as did other Trucial States in the region. The stamps were created specifically to be sold to non-domestic stamp collectors to raise money ("revenue") for each country. They were not even printed in the countries that bear their names. As such, they are not really postage stamps - they were not sold from Fujeira post offices and not used on their mail. Many depict subjects or topics completely non-related to the home country (such as the example seen here). Serious stamp collectors collectively call these non-stamps "Dunes" or "Trucials" and consider them worthless. There's reportedly been renewed interest in Trucial stamps in recent years.
Seen here is one of the values in a set of nine stamps issued to mark the Stamp Centenary Exhibition in Cairo in January 1966. The set depicts historic and ancient Egyptian sites and artifacts.
The stamp has a cancellation, but it was printed atop the stamp in the factory. Stamps with such fake cancellations are called "CTO" - "cancelled to order". They were never affixed to a cover and were never used in the mail.

I paid 20 rupees for this man-powered ferris wheel ride. It was the coolest ride I'VE ever been on, and the whole time I was thinking, "Why don't we have these in the states?"
And then I realized--because its really "dangerous." I bet this guy has been walking the ferris wheel for years and never fallen, but this would never fly in America...

This postage stamp (= Scott Catalogue # C32) was issued on 20 February 1965 by Sharjah in the eastern Arabian Peninsula. Sharjah is a country / emirate / sheikdom / Trucial State / confederation. In modern times, Sharjah is part of the "U.A.E." = the United Arab Emirates. Sharjah formerly issued its own postage stamps. The stamps were created specifically to be sold to non-domestic stamp collectors to raise money ("revenue"). They were not even printed in the areas that bear their names. As such, they are not really postage stamps - they were not sold from Sharjah post offices and not used on their mail. Many depict subjects or topics completely non-related to the home country. Serious stamp collectors collectively call these non-stamps "Dunes" or "Trucials" and consider them worthless. There's reportedly been renewed interest in Trucial stamps in recent years.
This one is part of a set of air mail stamps depicting birds. The stamp has a cancellation, but it was printed atop the stamp in the factory. Stamps with such fake cancellations are called "CTO" - "cancelled to order". They were never affixed to a cover and were never used in the mail.
