The Tokyo employees gathered together to take part in the FIT Charity Run, an industry-wide fundraising event that brings financial institutions and partners together to support children’s welfare in Japan. Our team united in the early morning with great energy and purpose, running alongside peers from across the sector while contributing to meaningful charitable initiatives. It was a day of teamwork, community spirit, and making a positive impact beyond the workplace.

The Rickshaw Run has no set route, no back up and no guarantee of making it to the finish line. Teams drive 145cc three-wheeled auto-rickshaws for two weeks, covering 3000km (ish).
Before the launch teams spend two days test driving and pimping their rickshaws. The mechanics teach them how to maintain their three-wheelers and basic repairs for when they inevitably break down.
This is an old school adventure.

Before work, I had to run and grab a package for Jon and Mel right before they leave to Hawaii. The package was for the Island Life, which I'm excited to see. Headed over to Vistaprint in Oakland. After that headed to San Francisco to Fully Laced to drop it of and before you know it, I was on the clock. Worked with Mike and Jenn until they were off. Then it was me and Zalo closing. Work was a bit busy at times but managed. Since it was Zalo and Jenn's two-year anniversary, suggested The Spot for a late night grub. All in all, pretty good day. Congrats to Zalo and Jenn!

Just been for a fab 10k run - have been doing longer runs recently in preparation for my first half next weekend, and I can definitely feel a difference, I felt strong literally all the way through, even on the hills, it was brill! And I'm seriously proud of my splits, the first few miles have a few hills in which do slow me down but even so I had enough left to manage negative splits from mile 3 onwards and look at mile 6! Recently I've struggled to keep within 12 min miles over longer distances so am super proud today!
