~~~Finally!!!!!! After a long day of riding the newly developed air-cooled Scooter (another inventive development by Santa SF-Brothers), this Santa Claus has reached the place where the reindeer now reside!! He made contact with the Rudolph Twins, who were assigned as the contact animals. This photo is the moment when they look in amazement at the "strange thing", which can also reach high speeds....... They've had a long conversation and guess what? The answer is actually very simple and logical! Once every 10 thousand years all reindeer come to this magical (the location is top secret), where they bathe in the Golden LIght for some time and thus take in this super energy, so that they can continue to fly. As soon as they are fully charged, they will come back home. The Santa decided to stay there to keep watch over the beloved reindeer……. to be continued~~~
PS. I asked the Santa Pianist and he knows and can play this song:
Merry Christmas Eve...
Presents are wrapped, the food is prepared for tomorrow, friends are coming and going, some glasses of bubbly with home made mince pies and cheese biscuits, hoping to hear Rudolph land on my roof tonight... Debbie ~ KissThePixel2019
Bought this a year ago and bc of the pandemic I’m not going anyplace to wear it to give people a giggle. ~sigh~
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
you know Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen,
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Ev'ryone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure its worth?
Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.
Spoken
What's a Christmas tree without tinsel
And pretty silver and gold decorations?
Can't really call it a Christmas tree now
Can you?
And think of all the fun and joy
That would be lost on Christmas morning
If all the young folks didn't get to see
That sparkling happy tree.
Silver and gold, silver and gold
Mean so much more when I see
Silver and gold decorations
On ev'ry Christmas tree.
Happy 50th Anniversary to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Christmas Special.
This commemorative set came in 2014. I wish a few more characters came with it, like Yukon Cornelius, Clarise and the Bumble.
The figures look good but four of them can't stay standing up. They are too top heavy.
I ended up drilling holes in all the figures and impaling them on headless nails. Santa's chair legs are hollow, so the four nail slip into the legs.
I'm very disappointed in the poor quality that went into producing them. It cost $25.00 (at Meijer) I'm sure others may end up returning them or just throwing them away after discovering the figures fall over so easy and won't stay standing up. The feet are so small and not flat, gluing them in place might also be difficult.
The harp and drummer are the worst as they have to stand on a tiny stool that also falls over....
Description:
I know I'm pushing it a bit with the whole reindeer / Santa thing but I'm ready! Two toddlers will do that to you. I'm so ready for them to experience the true meaning of Christmas and giving to others. And, of course, seeing their faces Christmas morning. :~)
Kinda Big News:
Another reason I'm sharing this photo is that Christmas came a little early for me today. This is my first upload with my new camera! Yeah! I will miss the awesome D300 which sold in just under 8 hours today.
Santa (actually Joel, my new best friend) delivered a new Nikon D700 with less than 1k clicks via overnight air. Thank you Joel and Fed Ex! I absolutely love this camera and paired with the 85mm it's a pretty sweet combination. Stay tuned for more to come ... :~)
Thanks for viewing!
