Ruby slippers hanging by Tracy

Coin pearls, genuine rubies, sterling silver wire and chain, my handmade earwires. These earrings are part of my Wizard of Oz series.

 

The hanging photos are getting better but I would like to find something thinner to hang the earrings on as I find it hard to completely remove the traces of what I'm using now.

 

The colour in this photo was off. I corrected it and replaced it.

One of the pairs of the ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz" at the "Color in Motion" exhibit
"Ding Dong...the Witch is Dead...." by Fibre Fanatic

My "Wizard of Oz" socks... at least the start...... black and white stripes continue down the top of the foot, while the heel, sole and toe (and a "strap" across the instep) are done in red to simulate the Ruby Slippers!
