Hold your horses, Dorothy...paws off those ruby slippers!

Missy Biscuit does love a nice pair of shoes. She knows they're a girl's best friend, along with diamonds, sapphires and...well, rubies. Oh, and let's not forget chocolate.

The behind the scenes discussion between Dorothy, Elphaba and Glenda :D

Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting :-)

~~ update: my sparkly red shoe made £25 thanks to the lovely Laila :-)

And remember, never let those ruby slippers off your feet for a moment, or you will be at the mercy of the Wicked Witch of the West.

So I am at work today talking to the coworker that totally gets that I like my dolls (the same one that is making Gracie the face of the Green Team) and I look down and see the hat and head of one of those tiny Wizard of Oz dolls McD's had a while back...I look in the cube next to him and see the little feet. ROFL!! He put it there for the girl in that cube to find when she comes back from vacation. Some days I don't hate work so much.

taken at oz park last sunday before a family photo shoot. it was almost 70 degrees and amazing outside.

Many movie memorabilia items fill the halls of the brand new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, including original Wizard of Oz items such as the famous Ruby Slippers. This museum opened in September 2021 and is one of the premier destinations in Los Angeles. Don’t miss it if you go to LA! This is one of the 4 known surviving pairs of Ruby Slippers from the 1939 film, and the best preserved. The black ink marking inside the shoe on the right reads "Judy Garland #7". This pair was used for close-ups only during filming, and it is theorized that they were used for the famous "No Place Like Home" scene at the end of the movie.

Yet another tribute to my favorite obsession, I mean, movie.

Vines seem twisted and confused as they step into new territory. Perhaps for that they select red feet.

This was the second mug rug I sent to my partner. She had a very specific "if you could work in OZ or the ruby slippers, that'd be cool" request. So I did what I could. At the beginning of each day, you get to smash the witch with your mug & send Dorothy on her journey. good times.

...follow the ruby slippers..........err.....well that's my version and i'm sticking to it ;P

Sparkly red shoes? Who DOESN'T want them? Srsly.

My Beloved and I were walking in Dynefor Parc, Llandeilo when I spotted a pair of ladies of a certain age deep in conversation.

I politely interrupted tham and asked if one of them had obtained these boots having dropped a house on the Wicked Witch of the East.. She was sporting enough to agree to pose for me to take this pic
