Der Thurner RS war ein Sportwagen, den der Versicherungskaufmann Rudolf Thurner 1969 vorstellte und danach in seinem Unternehmen Rudolf Thurner, Karosseriebau & Sportwagen fertigte. Der Prototyp sowie die ersten sechs Exemplare der Serienwagen entstanden noch in einer alten Schmiede in der Nähe von München-Riem, später wurden die Wagen in den Gebäuden einer alten Spinnerei in Bernbeuren produziert. Während der Prototyp noch auf der Bodengruppe eines NSU TT gefertigt wurde, diente bei den Serienwagen die um 100 mm verkürzte Bodengruppe des NSU 1200 C als Basis, mit dem Heckmotor des NSU TT. Darauf wurde die auf einem Stahlrohrrahmen montierte Karosserie aus Fiberglas/Glasfaserverstärktem Kunststoff (GFK) verschraubt Der zweisitzige Sportwagen hatte Flügeltüren und die Doppelscheinwerfer des NSU TT lagen unter Plexiglasabdeckungen in der flachen Schnauze. Die Windschutzscheibe stammte vom Porsche 904. Außer der Straßenversion entstand auch noch eine Rennversion, der Thurner RS-R, mit einem NSU-Abt-Einspritzmotor, der 135 PS entwickelte.
Nach 121 gebauten Exemplaren wurde die Produktion 1974 eingestellt, da die Ölkrise die Produktionskosten erheblich verteuerte und Thurners Finanzchef bei einem Autounfall ums Leben kam.

Der RS5 der ersten Generation basiert auf dem A5 8T und wurde als Coupé auf dem Genfer Auto-Salon im März 2010 vorgestellt. Das Fahrzeug war ausschließlich mit einem 7-Gang-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe S tronic erhältlich. Die Preise für das Sportcoupé begannen bei 77.700 Euro.
The first generation RS5 is based on the A5 8T and was presented as a coupé at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. The vehicle was only available with a 7-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission. The prices for the sports coupe started at 77,700 euros.
The HUDSON is the Scrap Fleet's demolition workhorse - it systematically removes cubes of salvage material from drifting wrecks and transfers them to it's sistership RS UNWIN for refinement and processing.

The RS HUDSON and Space wreck (AKA Space Rock, AKA Ice House) are the two largest LEGO structures I have ever built, it has been almost a year long journey with Isaac (Ricecracker) who conceived of the idea of SPACE wreaking SHIPs. Through many ramen meals the idea of a pair of SHIPs came together.
The SHIP is about 180 studs long, and the wreck/rock is like 3 feet tall. The RS Hudson has a NXT and two powerfunctions, the wreck/rock has one - which takes a combined 24 batteries to operate XD

One of my favourite cars. This is a classic car of the mid 90's fitted with the famous Cosworth 2 litre YB engine kicking out more than 200BHP. The Escort Cosworth is based on the Mk5 Escort but uses a shortened Sapphire Cosworth floorpan. All Escort Cosworths are 4 wheel drive.
