I need to ask at the zoo how this works. Staff members opened the gate in the large field where the bison graze. The entire herd immediately went through the gate and into a narrow structure of walls. The gate was closed and the staff were free to enter the field. There was not a single straggler.

This was the last herd of cattle I knew of being rounded up.
The tip on location was long way from where we found them. We had given up finding any cattle & was almost out of Crow Creek when we found this herd.

The Roundup opened back in the 1940's and I'm guessing the sign is from the 50's. In May of 2009 I went out to Surrey for a change of scene but found the cafe closed and neon sign off as it was a long weekend at the time. Until recently the area to the North of the cafe had a huge problem with street people, the homeless, and open drug use. Although things have since improved I haven't been back as the Whalley area has little appeal.
