Wijnhaven Rotterdam with many reflections.
The Wijnhaven was dug in 1613 as part of the construction of the Waterstad, the part of Rotterdam between Schielands Hoge Zeedijk and the Nieuwe Maas.
De Wijnhaven is gegraven in 1613 als onderdeel van de aanleg van de Waterstad, het gedeelte van Rotterdam tussen Schielands Hoge Zeedijk en de Nieuwe Maas.

Rotterdam kunstdepot Museum Boymans van Beuningen. In 2021 opent Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen zijn deuren. De hele collectie wordt – dat is een wereldprimeur – toegankelijk voor het publiek. Het ontwerp van de Rotterdamse architect Winy Maas van MVRDV reikt met zijn veertig meter zo hoog als de museumtoren. En biedt inwoners en andere bezoekers vanaf de gratis toegankelijke daktuin met restaurant een prachtig panorama op de stad en zijn haven. ||| Rotterdam art depot Museum Boymans van Beuningen. In 2021 Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen will open its doors. The entire collection – this is a world first – is accessible to the public. The design of the Rotterdam architect Winy Maas of MVRDV reaches with his forty meters as high as the museum tower. And from the free accessible rooftop garden with restaurant, residents and other visitors offer a beautiful panorama of the city and its harbour.

Today (30 November, 2021) on the news: this coal-fired power station (one of biggest polluters of the Netherlands, build in 2015) will be closed, maybe as soon as within the next two months. Necessary for NL to be able to live up to the Paris Agreements. There's three more coal fired power stations to go.

De Leuvehaven biedt tegenwoordig ruimte aan het oudste scheepvaartmuseum van Nederland: het Maritiem Museum.
Op historische schepen en kranen kun je beleven hoe de wereldhaven van Rotterdam op deze plek ontstaan is.
In de maanden juli en augustus organiseert het Maritiem Museum vaartochten door de Leuvehaven en omringende binnenhavens.

On historic ships and cranes you can experience how the world port of Rotterdam originated here.
In July and August, the Maritime Museum organizes boat trips through the Leuvehaven and surrounding inland ports.
