This is one of those images where I could not decide on a composition, I stood here for what seemed an age pondering my shot, I wanted the moss covered tree roots and also wanted a shot of the rotten tree with the whole in it. So, decision made I settled on a focus stacked image taking in both elements in their forest environment, there was a kind of well worn track going down beside the tree which I later followed and came across the Orchids.

Old Barge seen near the South Tower of the Humber Bridge at Barton upon Humber in North Lincolnshire .
Found under rotten flattened grass in an open moist place in the forest.
Very fast moving so a lot of shots out of focus...
