Rose bushes in the back yard just starting to sprout leaves - I love the colours of them when they're new. We had some rain so the leaf was filled with droplets.
Summer will never be forgotten
But one can fall in Love with Autumn
The Sun, the Colours and the Light
Do you remember this lovely Sight ?
When Leaves are dancing in the Air
Landing here and also there
Each of the Seasons has its Charme
Now welcome Autumn
And Keep your Heart warm

17:52 In my back yard
I really hate to post and run, but as you know, I'm on vacation and unfortunately, don't have time to comment :( Just wanted to get my weekly theme image posted.
These are rose leaves in our back yard, and of course, it was raining :)
I'm having a wonderful time on the Oregon coast - it's sunny and pretty warm, although windy. I'll see you all when I get back - miss you!
To walk a delicate path,
along a transient moment in time,
realization that but a soft breath,
delivers the unfortunate fateful blow,
igniting the autumn fire within,
sealing ones fate along that ever delicate path.
Following the dew drops along this beautiful Autumn morning rose leaf. The third photo from the "Autumn Inspirations I" series.
Thanks for the favs and kind compliments!
"Wishing wells,
Wedding bells,
Early morning dew.....
All kinds of everything reminds me of you".......
Morning Autumn light kissing the dew on a rose leaf. Sharing a touch of color and nature's elements from a cool Autumn morning with a pastel inspiration.
The first photo from the "Autumn Inspirations I" series (1 of 4).
Sometimes finding balance in life is like walking a tight rope. Lean a bit too far one way and everything is lost.
Continuing my Autumn morning pastels. The second photo from the "Autumn Inspirations I" series (2 of 4).
This is an image from last year although, our temps have dipped into the "frigid" category! I was too lazy (and cold) to go look for frost this morning...
Lovely rainy day May 25th 2022. I ran outside and took tons of photos of the roses in mother's hedge, rose petal and leaves with rain drops.
Right now in March 2023, been too cold this year for the roses to start booming yet, although a friend's roses are already blooming. The daffodils are trying to bloom. Not enough rain yet this year. First week in April will be warmer weather.
Will be selling her house very soon. I miss my mom. She passed away August 31st, 2022
I saved several photos from my shoot in Ripon, CA. to post here and there. I used the wind and a longish shutter for the effect.
Locally the predominant colour of autumn is yellow ... so many leaves are turning yellow, before the gales and rain whisk them away! So I decided to bring in some in from the garden - here it is the rose leaves that are turning.
And as dark winter nights approach I usually bring out my hand-blown glass decorations. They shine and glow in the evenings, and feel just that bit festive 😊

284 days to go before my next trip to the Philippines
This is the spider web I shot the other day. You can't really see it as it was covered by so much water. The SOOC was mostly green so I tweaked it a little for Blue Monday.
Pulled this out from last February for an end of year monochrome.

Have you often wondered what's eating your Rose leaves?
This is the one, Sawfly Caterpillar.

No snow, no frost, no freeze. It's Christmas Day and we still have roses blooming. It has been raining and the drops on the leaves are quite beautiful on the fall colored leaves.
They just reminded me of well-used hands all battered and gnarled. Give thanks for imagination, I say.

I was hoping to get a bit of a lens flare with this lens. I wasn't able to see the straight line flares until I uploaded it to Lightroom. I like the effect.
