(Un)Chilling With Blue-Eyed Blonde Hottie Shannon By The Golden Red Fireplace - IMRAN™

It was complicated taking this photo (no edit, no filter, no tweaking, SOOC {straight out of camera} from the iPhone 13 Pro Max) considering the angle of the sofa, angle of the camera, and my stretched and angled arm to try to fit in my double-chin, and double-magics of blue-eyed blonde beloved Shannon, all in-line with the roaring fireplace. It was not complicated feeling loved and enjoying the occasional near-freezing nights Tampa Bay, Florida can have. I had to ask Shannon to hold my can of (cold but absolutely never to be purchased again) AHA zero-sugar zero-taste zero-value non-cola. Nothing else was cold in the room that night. Kennedy and K2 were to the side, but one of the Roomba cleaning robots insisted on being in the photo.

I was originally going to crop this to make it level. But the tilt along with her leg's position kind of grew on me. I think I like it better this way for some reason.

A nice morning faffing around doing crosswords and deleting photos on ipernity. It's tidied things up a bit. Andy cleaned my car and I set Roomba going downstairs and disinfected the kitchen and door handles and light switches. Feeling quite smug. Opted to photograph a poinsettia close up rather than go out and muck up my nice clean car.
Took some rubbish out to the bin and met Emma coming home with Courtney in the midst of a massive tantrum. She'd lost it completely and was roaring at the top of her voice in a rage determined to get her own way. I tried to distract her for a bit but with no luck so gave up I think I was doing more harm than good.
After lunch it was coffee and stollen time with Andy. Stuffing our faces and bad mouthing Westminster. Andy said Morrisons was packed early this morning. Not panic buying but Christmas shopping. Sainsbury's doesn't seem to have delivery slots next week and I was planning an early Morrisons shop but I'm now thinking of going to Asda's in the middle of the night. They are open 24 hours. I usually wake up to go to the loo anyway so it wouldn't be too hard to get dressed and out. I would like fresh fruit and veg. We'll see.
I love my iRobot. Press the remote or program it, and it vacuums the room and returns to the charging dock. This is an upgrade from the very first series of iRobot I bought years ago.

Strange Skin Syndrome Strikes Shepherd Shedding Sand! - IMRAN™ (3D)
Does your German Shepherd experience this skin condition? Kennedy, my chill & uber cool German Shepherd, hates having to swim. He even goes into a corner of the patio and pool deck when I’m near the pool.
He wasn’t a big fan of getting wet in general for a while too. He does however love wading into Tampa Bay waters up to his belly now. He will then also sometimes roll in the sand. Then he even walks up the gazebo waiting to be hosed down all over without even having to be told.
Of course a quick wash there doesn’t completely clear this strange skin syndrome striking Shepherds shedding sand at home later. It’s a condition which is quite dangerous.... to the soles of my feet walking barefoot at home, and to the Roomba which has to work three times longer to keep cleaning the living area level of the home. 😄

She follows it around and tries to bite it. I usually keep her out of the room where Roomba is working so she doesn't get run over.
I figure iRobot won't mind the mention, even if these spider guys are totally FREE to all home owners within their extensive range, and do an absolute bang up job grabbing all the bugs who come to their webs.
That's how this one got my attention. Too GOOD at its work, for my tastes! I WANT to see those bugs...and while ALIVE, preferably!! The photos are so much nicer that way... :D
We have a screen room which by the natural way of it, often has a bug or two fly in as we go in and out. This spider was one of many of its species that wants to stake out MY bug hunting grounds. Relocated to (NEARLY) as good an area!
I can't hardly believe I haven't shot one of these for my yard list on iNaturalist, but??? Happy Arachtober to me...it's NEW. :)

45 minute exposure of my Roomba cleaning a room. This was my 4th attempt, I repeatedly had the f-stop too low and the resulting noise was too great. The silly bit is that since my floor was very clean after the previous 3 attempts I had to sprinkle dirt in spots to get the blue circles that come from the Roomba spot cleaning.

I got home from the dance, jumped in the shower and put on some comfy jammies. Headed downstairs for a snack and a movie and the kids don't know what they want. Bella the pup is fascinated with the rain (I don't blame her), Hammie the litttle guy in the hampster ball seems to be entrhalled by the TV and what I am going to put on....and ofc the roomba is just happily chugging along, lol. I put the Wonder Woman for me and the little critters and fell asleep in the chair.
