Female great tit brings food to her chicks in the nest box.
One of the best-known birds in our gardens and feeding tables is the great tit (Parus major).
Although it is an insect-eater, it switches to seeds in the winter.
Therefore, great tits don't have to fly south in the winter.
They are acrobats at the feeding table, easily hanging on the peanut netting or balancing on a suet ball.
In the spring, great tits choose all kinds of holes and hollows in the woods and woodlands for making their nest.
Even during nesting season they like to be spoiled by humans ... they gladly choose our bird houses to nest.

With hardly any time between meetings and being awake 30 hours by then, there was no chance to go out for lunch. My preferred lunch item was finished at the hotel, so a surprisingly delicious cheeseburger from room service was the only option.
Not much of a power lunch but enough to keep the taste buds and fat cells of this road warrior going. In my defense, that’s now 2 months I’ve not had a soda. Plus, that’s the only time I’ve had fresh fruits in two consecutive meals! Yes, those are two laptops I’m listening to two separate 1:30 PM conference calls on — about 12 minutes before going on camera in front of my own 200 attendees call at 2 PM. Fortunately, it went great and I didn’t fall asleep live on camera!
