My current plan is to figure out how to do this with my medium format.

Because, seriously, I love this. Any & all suggestions are welcome.

That's pretty much it, today. This, as you should know by now, is Laura.

And behind her, sunset.

She was nice enough to, for this shoot, bring a bunch of different outfits. I think we did at least three costume changes, this, a simple shirt, I believe, and some wild Star Wars jacket, like the one that old dude, Peter Cushing, wore in the first one.

Good times. How y'all doing?

Shot of Laura and our model, Camilla Taylor, from yesterday's hotel room shoot, up on the blog: blog.louobedlam.com/post/59321066/lauras-been-coming-with...

Oh, and here's something cool: Katie West started a Flickr group based around giving & getting constructive criticism on photographs. So for everyone who's always wanted to speak up when they see a shot they don't like, here's your chance! JOIN NOW: Room For Improvement

Mike asked me of my new 100mm macro lens. Surprise, it's a flower. What fun this new view on the world is and so much this one has to learn about making the most if it.

I wish you all a happy day. Thanks for your visit xx

Totoro and co wish you a fantastic holiday season with little parcels and tiny paper stars. :)

May your day be filled with little treasures.

I punctured myself with my Zwilling cook's knife getting a plate from the dishwasher.

Had the hardest time opening the Hansaplast brand bandaid, packaged in some nasty plastic. Even with scissors the bandaid was still very hard to remove by hand. And all the time you're still bleeding!

Complete fail on packaging design by Hansaplast. All typed with (clean) left hand.

No job to big or small as the team come to terms with bed assembly.

You may have heard of him, from the buzz surrounding this artist at the moment it would have been hard not to.

All the way from Toronto, Canada he's Hip-Hop's breath of fresh air, at least that's what he is to me. Being an avid fan of Trey Songz I first noticed Drake on the Replacement Girl single back in '07, this led me to downloading his Comeback Season & Room for Improvement Mixtapes and well...I guess it all started from there.

He followed them up with the masterpiece that is So Far Gone which (in my opinion) is better than most albums released today, Drake's presence on a track is felt whether he's singing, rapping or both and I truly believe he can do something for Hip-Hop like so many few, and maybe even save it from the likes of Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy.

Enough of me yapping, check him out, download the Mixtapes and support the artist!

Members of the team arrive at the apartment and begin to sort out the belongings.

The team will acquire and fit the appliances on loan.

Special arrangements are made to help everyone, even those in the most difficult financial situations.

The project model ensures a continual connection between the NGOs, donors and the community they serve as it allows needy recipients to retain dignity, builds capacity and ultimately, reduces dependency so individuals can live to their full potential and contribute to their own community.

...or maybe not!

Room for improvement?

Jeez, this little puncture bleeds like heck and it's still bleeding. Bled on my camera as well. The things I do for package testing and Flickr (-;

Hansaplast bandaids complete fail as I couldn't get them from the packaging with one hand, teeth or sharp scissors! Also weird to acknowledge DSLR cameras are made for right hand people. Very tricky getting this with one hand, trying to press the shutter.

Can't tell if done or under-microwaved. Anyhow, the cake mix from Daiso is way too sweet... but too lazy to start from scratch.... (no time ar!) LOTS of room for improvement! ;-P

I debated on posting this one now, so close in proximity to the previous spring-y tree-ful photo, but whatever.

It's my photostream, darn it, and I'll post as many pictures of trees as I want. x"p

...I did want to share the spring photo of The Tree. For me, I almost feel that I waited a bit long for the "spring" version of this series, and the leaves are a little too open. (Thoughts?) But, I walked up to the tree the day I took this photo, and I noticed that it is actually a flowering tree, and most of the flowers haven't bloomed yet. So, maybe another one of these is in order? When the blossoms are open? Who knows. ={p

Anyway, look in the comments section for a photo of the budding flowers on this tree.

(And please excuse the different view on this. I didn't realize that there was so much sky in the first one..)

This artwork was inspired by a 2017 Channel 4 documentary

‘Wasting Away’. Journalist Mark Austin stated that “there are just

202 NHS beds in the whole of the UK for young people with eating

disorders”, as against 1.2 million sufferers. In line with CTRL/Shift,

Caren Garfen has relinquished control by leaving some of her 202

dolls house beds untouched. These became pauses in the stitched

dialogue, giving the viewer space to meditate on the devastating

effects of eating disorders.

Well, the wedding pictures have been delivered to my client and he is on Cloud 9 after reviewing them, all 140 of them. Five of my favorites from the wedding can be seen here.

I can say with a degree of confidence the wedding shoot went well. There's definite room for improvement since this was my first but I gained valuable experience from this whole thing. It's really been my single focus which explains why I haven't been around for a while. But now I'm hoping to return to some state of normalcy, which entails looking for a job, continue shooting photos and developing my business plan.
