Photo taken in Søndergade in Svaneke, a town on the eastern coast of the Baltic island of Bornholm, September 1, 2024.
A house built well below the pavement. Our city is hilly being built mainly in the crater of an old volcano. In the distance the harbour, then the Peninsula with a last spot of sun for the day and behind that the Pacific stretching 8000 km to Chile or 3000 to Antarctica.
The village of St Monan on the coast of Fife had some pretty cottages typical of the area. They tend to be squat and solidly built with thick stone walls to keep out the cold wind, it looked Dutch. The feature I particularly loved was the stepping on the gables, I don't know where this comes from but it made them look very attractive.
The Sony Center is a Sony-sponsored building complex located at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Desiged by Helmut Jahn, it opened in 2000 and houses Sony's German headquarters.
Grabbed a shot when we went to grab some groceries before the big day. Saw these icicles and grabbed the shot before heading home.
I still have just a few things still to finish off gift wise for grandkids so I will likely just be posting for my 365 and running. I am going to try to perhaps having a wee peak at your images as well.
