and it's my whole heart
while tried and tested, it's mine
and it's my whole heart
trying to reach it out
and it's my whole heart
burned but not buried this time
Ronja is one of 3 German au pairs that a friend and I ran into at Harpers Ferry last weekend. We saw them taking pictures of each other and asked if they would mind us practicing a little portrait work with them.
They were really patient with us and we had a lot of fun. I still need a lot of work, but I was glad for the experience.
Shot on the Maryland side of the Potomac.
This is Ronja. Spotted her in Handen earlier in the week. She was in a hurry, on her way to the amusement park Gröna Lund in Stockholm to catch a concert with Icona Pop. I asked if I could take a few portraits as I really liked her look. No no no was her quick response, before explaining that she was always very uncomfortable in front of the camera. But I don't give up that easy, so after a couple of minutes talk we were shooting and the photos came out just fine. Ronja comes from Dalarna, a province in central Sweden. Today she lives in Handen with her boyfriend and two cats. She is very passionate about fashion, music and dance. Another passion is Change and Development and she has just finished her master's degree. This is my twenty-third portrait for the Human Family. Oh, and we are planing another photo shoot, as Ronja figured it wasn't all that bad to have one's photo taken!
