A shot taken this afternoon in St James' Park.
London today has been tormented by a strong wind and heavy showers, however, the Park, beautified by carpets of blooming daffodils, was still crowded with tourists and visitors, happy to enjoy the few hours of peace granted by the elements. Some spots looked lovely in the diffused light of this cloudy day, like the one chosen by the lovers in this shot, located a few meters away from the Blue Bridge.

Young lovers kiss passionately by Trafalgar Square Fountain. (Candid shot). This photograph was taken early in the afternoon, when the square was very crowded as usual. I therefore cropped the image to highlight the feel of sublime romance and isolation from the surrounding world. Trying to change the camera setting to work with the selective focus would have meant to miss the moment. I thought that a soft pink monochrome would suit the sweetness of this instant...

The peaceful and serene view enjoyable from the Italian Gardens, in the heart of London.This beautiful 150 year old ornamental water gardens were created in the 1860s during the reign of Queen Victoria, as a gift to the Queen from her beloved husband Albert. The site, restored in 2011, is located on the north side of Kensington Gardens.
