The Rolls Razor, "the razor that is stropped and honed in its case"

A very old razor. I dated mine back to 1945. The hone stone is broken, the stropping leather dried out. It maybe can be restored and sharpened but for me it's obsolete and just a show piece

Detail shots of the #RollsRazor logo, called #TheWhetter on the back side of the #Hone case lid, the etching on the blade, the #WickedLooking #HollowGround blade edge-on, and #1952 date information on the spine of the blade. #NoSafetyBarHere #ExtremeOpenComb meaning #NoCombRazor yet this is still considered a #SafetyRazor (??!!) #StraightOnAStick #Wetshaving #VintageShave #SheffieldSteel

Sure, it says that its a 'safety razor,' but chances are if I tried using it, I'd paint the bathroom sticky red long before I had to worry about tetanus.

From 1936, still has an edge and is able.
