I'm pleased and amused that my Docklands' Cranes photo is being Explored today (previous post).
Leon Van Kemenade and I met up in the Docklands and took photos of the cranes - Leon with his majestic Rolleiflex. I also took this snap of Leon's camera.
Leon's photo (below) was awarded the supreme accolade of #1 place on Explore when he posted it. My photo is way down the list today, but I'm very happy it made the list too.

I've been wanting to do one of these since I got the camera!
I did have it all centered and straight, but then it went askew when I lifted my head. I think I like it better this way, though. I tend to get too fixated on straight horizons sometimes
It was a bit of a shock to me in my first black/white shots to see the sky just completely white. Takes a little getting used to..

This is my wife Carole's Rolleiflex 3.5F Twin Lens Reflex Medium Format camera which uses 120mm film. I bought her this camera in Oct 2019 for her 58th birthday. Incidentally, this camera's production date is 1961, the year Carole was born so the camera is now 60 years old. The camera is in excellent condition, still works great and came with the original leather case.
