vegan sushi roll - the restaurant lighting was kinda awful on this day, but I wanted to take a photo because the roll looked like a big caterpillar ^_^

she like to roll around, she can move pretty fast now too. the other kind of roll i am going to miss are the ones on her arms and legs. i love baby fat.
In case you can't tell, these are swimming lane lines which have been rolled up on a reel for storage. I thought they made a nice pattern.

As you can see, they really are rather non-descript stones, weathered and old but nothing to write home about.

Almost immediately the last bit of day light vanished and I was ill to my stomach with a sense of impending doom.
All I wanted to do was leave - immediately!
Due to a massive rainfall of 150mm over the preceeding days, a couple of the beaver dams blocking waterflow into George Lake and Chickanishing creek broke. As a result the Cranberry Bog drained, raising the waterlevels in George Lake a good foot. Further, the Chickanishing Creek was turned into a rushing river, and it's lovely little waterfalls became veritable rapids.
Here a rushing roll of water foams over rocks that are normally high and dry.

I have been pushing the chemicals to the limit. The chemicals should last for no more than 2 months and the suggested capacity is 12 rolls. However, I have been using those chemicals for 5 months now and this is my 18th roll : ) The grain is very obvious now even for iso 160 medium format film. I guess I will stop using it now. My new chemicals will arrive tomorrow : )

test roll for canon dial 35 2… unfortunately i didn't bulk load it quite right, it tore off the spindle, which explained quite nicely why the rewind was being odd. unfortunately i came to this realization when i got impatient and opened the camera in a coffee shop, fogging up a bit of the roll. win some, lose some!
