Again, I miss the black hair.

My second roll from yesterday. Shot using a Lomography Lomo LC-A 120 on Lomography CN400 film.

I just a caterpillar roll/dragon roll for lunch. Yum! This photo was taken by my camera phone so the coloring is not fantastic.

The best thing about this spot was the sound of the rolling rocks as the departing waves pulled them down the "beach".

Shot with an R72 infra-red filter.

Even blacker....

The USMC lost several "Landing Vehicles Tracked" (LVTs) during the invasion of Tinian. The LVTs were apparently left in place and buried. This 1945 photo may be one. The LVT currently at Tinian's "LVT Traffic Circle" was unearthed in 1994.

An accident I drove by last week on the Gardiner. I don't know what happened (couldn't find the news report), but I do know that traffic was at a standstill for about 30-45mins. It was hard to get a report of the accident over the radio since there were 2 other accidents. One on the 401, another on the 427 I think.

My grandfather would always get upset when he'd see car accidents like these on clear sunny days. "Probably speeding... probably following too closesly... wreckless...". Although I don't think a blanket statement like that applies to all cases you do have to wonder.

All I need is a rhythm divine

Lost in the music, your heart will be mine

All I need is to look in your eyes

Viva la musica, say you'll be mine

can i have this feeling forever

can i live this moment together

Nothing else matters just you and the night

Follow on the wings of desire

Now the rhythm's taking you higher

No one can stop us from havin' it all

You are my heart you are my soul

If you spot some square dots on the pictures that's not a negative error. My sensor needs to be cleaned, but sadly I can't find any sensor cleaning kits right now where I live... Images came pretty nice n this roll, God knows how much I love to use my barnack leica... Good thing about working with a trusty gear is that you always know what will come in the end, not waiting any ''suprise'' results... You know what you will get, and you take your picture. Anything other than this gives me extreme anxiety, that's why I don't like to use other cameras...

Climax: What a roll of film!

Usually I don't do that, but here I show you basically an entire roll of film. I like these very much and there's some story, too.

It was another bad weather day during my holiday. I drove around in my car, after a while I got tired and wanted to walk a mile, despite of the pouring rain and zero visibility. I did not expect any photo opportunity, so I only grabbed the film camera and ONE roll of film (Ilford FP4) and left my rucksack in the car.

After an hour suddenly the wind picked up und the clouds changed to something really dramatic, with views showing and hiding things quite rapidly. Amazing scenes. And I got only 36 exposures! I needed to think and decide really hard, not to waste the film with duplicates. If I had my digital camera, pobably I would have meda hunderets of pictures. But I managed somehow to get along with 36 and thats what I am showing here. (2 or 4 are missing, spoiled images from the start and the end of the film.)

2008-01-05, my place, Paris. Making some samoussas

(it's a bit like indian and chinese samossas, but the way the meat is cooked and the spices used are specific)

My parents have been making these for years, they can do hundreds of them in an evening but until last saturday I didn't even know how to roll the damn thing properly .

Here comes mighty internet, I looked up on some website, tried to roll a fake samoussa with a paper strip.

It looked pretty good so I decided to make some for the birthday party, cooked some meat and cheese stuffing and deep fried them later on

For a first try, they were actually very successful. and it was fun too because it was mostly improvisation and I didn't know how it would taste at the end :). That's the basics of my cooking style///
