Jenny said, when she was just five years old
You know there's nothin' happening at all
Every time she put on the radio
There was nothin' goin' down at all
Not at all
One fine mornin', she puts on a New York station
And she couldn't believe what she heard at all
She started dancin' to that fine-fine-fine-fine music
Ooohhh, her life was saved by rock 'n' roll
Hey baby, rock 'n' roll
Despite all the amputation
You could dance to a rock 'n' roll station
And it was alright
It was alright
Hey babe
Jenny said, when she was just five years old
You know there's nothin' happening at all
Two TV sets, two Cadillac cars
Ahhh, hey, ain't help me nothin' at all
Not at all
One fine morning, she heard on a New York station
She couldn't believe what she heard at all
Not at all
Despite the amputation
You could dance to a rock 'n' roll station
It was alright
It was alright
Oh, now here she comes now-now
Jenny said, when she was just five years old
You know there's nothin' happening at all
Yeah, every time she put on the radio
There was nothin' goin' down at all
Not at all
Then one fine morning, she put on a New York station
And she couldn't believe what she heard at all
She started dancing to that fine-fine music
Ahh, her life was saved by rock 'n' roll
Rock 'n' roll
Despite all the amputation
You could dance to the rock 'n' roll station

Kids ready to roll down the hill :)
More simple poetry written whilst stuck in traffic; it really is therapeutic ! I was listening to Swan Lake on the radio... it's a very abstract poem.
Swan Lake
Subsequent yellow mottled follow hasty clever knaves
Solid sequined swans with colourful sounds play near, never far
Winding fumes laughingly flow round and round repeating allegro
Softly sublte victims of luscious beauty, rebuild a phrase
Heightened brightness musically scored and redounded, once more
Scherzo laughing slowly bare, bouncing prancing through the air
Raindrops glisten without sun, building steady till they run
Intermezzo harps and flute rudely sprinkle harmony brute
Finale yet to shed its flair, making for its shameful tear
Ringing out in tangent form, rondo gathering splendid charm
Thinly voiced violin alone sweet textures see, elicit words with glee
Swans resting on bended knee, set irresistible facets free

Traditionally on the 4th of October you are supposed to enjoy your coffee, or fika as we call this important part of the day, with a cinnamon roll as it is National Cinnamon Roll Day in Sweden today, but I am sticking with my cardamom bun!
At sea off the coast of Argentina, a cloud appeared that stretched across the horizon, looking like a twisted rope or towel miles long. This type of cloud formation is called a Roll Cloud, a relatively rare type of Arcus cloud. They are completely detached from other cloud features and usually, but not always, seen at sea. The name comes from their appearance of rolling horizontally.
I had to look this one up, as I'd never seen or heard of it before. From many of the comments below, very few others have seen this either.
Storm season is back again .. and kicking off quite well if the storms last night were any indication, with a rare but not unheard of Tornado in inland NSW.
I'm working on updating my old blog roll and moving it to the new blog! I'd love to add yours- Drop your links in the comments!

Ponce de Leon claimed Florida for Spain in 1513. (Christopher Columbus discovered North America in 1492 but actually landed in the Bahamas). Other Spanish explorers later found gold and silver in Mexico and Peru. The treasure was sent back to Spain in ships sailing in the Gulf Stream. Spanish settlements needed to be built in Florida to protect the Spanish Treasure fleets. King Phillip II of Spain sent Pedro Menendez to settle in Florida and drive out French garrisons recently established there. In September 1565, Pedro Menendez with 700 soldiers and colonists landed 'here' and founded St. Augustine making it the oldest continually occupied European settlement in North America ~ Saint Augustine Inlet
