A mosaic of the center of our home galaxy using 14 panels with a Rokinon 135mm f2 lens and Nikon D5300 h-alpha modified.
Unfortunately, not a perfectly clear night, and so some panels had slight cloud cover, hence a difficult job in stitching together. But a very good practice for my first mosaic.

They seem to be cleaning up the weeds pretty well. I think I can put off mowing for another week or so. Thanks, ladies!
Testing the Samyang/Rokinon 35mm f1.4
PRO: More than decent sharpness, smooth focusing ring.
CON: Infinity focus is NOT limited on the end, so the focus ring can go beyond infinity (a fair amount beyond) - that makes it VERY hard to find infinity focus manually, even in broad daylight. There is no AF chip to confirm the focus either, makes it almost impossible to focus into infinity without missing it a number of times. An almost useless lens for me, since I do not use (or like) live mode shooting.
