6am this morning. I'm on the Roissybus headed from Charles de Gaulle airport back into Paris after a night flight of no sleep, but constant drawing. I was in New York for a family visit. Now I just need coffee…..lots and lots of coffee! More to come…..

This morning at some un-Godly hour. Me and some guy I met on the Roissybus from the airport heading back into Paris. He spoke some language that I didn’t understand, however he was very animated. I was on a two week family visit in New York. Extremely jet-lagged. Drinking coffee as I type. I was up all night on a great Air France flight drawing. Now sleep needed……more to come when I wake up. I have no idea what happened to that guy….
Roissybus is a coach service offered by the regional public transportation authority, RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens) connecting Charles de Gaulle airport with the Opéra district of Paris - it actually drops you off in front of the American Express office at the corner of Rue Scribe and Rue Auber which is behind the Garnier Opera House (Place de l’Opera). - diagonally opposite the 'Opera' metro station.
To get the bus from the airport follow the overhead signs to find your nearest bus stop. The Roissybus to 'Opera' departs every 15 minutes from Terminals 1 and 2. Just follow the signs and hop on, you can pay the driver on the coach. If you're the only person waiting at the stop you may need to flag the bus down as it circles the Terminal.
