A igreja da Venerável Ordem 3ª de São Domingos Gusmão teve sua construção iniciada em 1731. Tem fachada em estilo rococó. Seu interior possui talha neoclássica, que substituiu a primitiva talha barroca. Sofreu reforma de 1873 a 1888, quando foi aberto uma clarabóia no altar-mor e as talhas douradas do teto foram sacrificadas. Possui valioso acervo artístico de artistas baianos e mobiliário em jacarandá. O teto ilusionista da nave é obra do mestre José Joaquim da Rocha.
A Igreja fica no Terreiro de Jesus.
The church of the Venerable Order 3rd of São Domingos Gusmão had its construction begun in 1731. It has facade in rococo style. Its interior has neoclassical carving, that replaced the primitive baroque carving. It underwent refurbishment from 1873 to 1888, when a skylight was opened on the high altar and the gilded carvings of the ceiling were sacrificed. It has a valuable artistic collection of native Bahia artists and jacaranda furniture. The nave's illusionist ceiling is the work of the master José Joaquim da Rocha.
The Church is located in the Terreiro de Jesus, historical centre, downtown Salvador, Bahia.

Arcs of the City council of Cuenca, where the street Alfonso VIII is united with the Plaza Mayor. The building is of baroque style and was built in 1792.
