"The scanners onboard the L.M.S Explorer have detected a cave system rich in Energy Crystals. However, the caves are small and large areas are only accessible by aquatic means of transportation. Rock Raiders HQ must be split into smaller units as the smaller nature of the caverns won’t allow a single unit of the support station to maintain a breathable atmosphere for the entire network of tunnels. Construct a larger main HQ in the center of the cave system and then expand further out closer to the waterways and build an additional support station. Then build the Docs and teleport down a Rapid Rider.
Be aware, the scanners have detected some movement in nearby caves. Use caution and try to secure the HQ using electric fences! Good luck down there, Rock Raider!"
After close to two months of work I've finally completed my most extensive Rock Raiders MOC so far. With this build I wanted to add a lot of in-game elements that never made it into official sets. As well as showing of my "UCS" versions of the Rapid Rider and Loader Dozer. One of the defining features of this MOC compared to previous RR MOCs are the power paths. Working with a somewhat limited parts selection it was a bit tricky to get the shaping and proportions right. In the end I'm rather pleased with the outcome. The selection of buildings relate to the "start-of-the-mission" message written for this MOC. Hope you like it and as always cc is always welcome.

Another angle on St Marys lighthouse from last Sunday mornings outing, the final shot of the morning. Sorry lads for the "just this one more" shot ! LOL ;-)
In the grand company of Davey Bryan & Col B
I'm not 100% happy with the whole shot, but I deccided to upload it as is for now until I can figure out how to tweek the bits I'm not sure about... The unsharp rock to the left (because the waves were rolling over it) & the uneven tones in the sea to the right (probs because of rocks under the water causing the extra wave motion)..... :-/

If I asked you what colour this Rock Pipit is you would probably mention buffy tones on the underparts and maybe olive-brownish on the back. But this is the same bird taken just a minute or two earlier when it was in deep shadow: www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling/53345244577/in/dateposted/ Now this shady bird seems to have whitish underparts and cold grey upperparts with no hint of olive or brown. I have not altered the colours of either photo, these are straight off the camera. What a difference a bit of hazy sunshine makes. Incidentally, one of the supposedly diagnostic features of Rock Pipit is buffy/off white outer tail feathers, yet in sunshine or shade, this bird seems to have pure white outer tail feathers. I can see why people have difficulty identifying pipits. Thankfully the darkish legs and smudgy breast markings separate it from Meadow and Tree Pipits. Here's a Tree Pipit with pale pink legs and sharp breast markings: www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling/52935192965/in/photolist

- www.kevin-palmer.com - Mantle Rock is located in rural western Kentucky. The 188 foot long arch is the longest in the US east of the Mississippi River. This place also has historical significance as well. In the harsh winter of 1838-1839 almost 2,000 Cherokee Indians camped here as they waited for the Ohio River to thaw. The Native Americans were forced by the government to relocate from the Deep South to Oklahoma. A large percentage of them tragically died during the long journey, on what is known as "The Trail of Tears."
Went with Sam to his caretaking job about 50 miles outta Missoula. This is Rock Creek...a gorgeous, very mountainous area. There also alot of Mountain Sheep out this way...but didn't get to see them this time. Large view is better....:)
The Italian name is "Pietra di Bismantova". This Is an arenaria rock. Was formed after many depositions of sand and sediments in the Sea and with the tectonic moviment, Today is an climbing rock for the escursionists.

I found myself wandering farther, and farther into this magical place; farther than I had ever been before. Many miles with a heavy backpack, camera gear, and an insatiable wanderlust driving me to explore this little traveled wonderland. I live for that next adventure that will inspire my senses, and urge me to create.
Prothonotary Warbler striking a dynamic pose, photographed at Magee Marsh Wildlife Refuge this May.
It seems like these little guys steal the show every time they make an appearance at Magee Marsh. They are incredibly approachable and have an amazingly vibrant yellow to them. This one's pose just screamed "rock star" to me. :-P

Split Rock Lighthouse is a lighthouse located southwest of Silver Bay, Minnesota, USA on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The structure was designed by lighthouse engineer Ralph Russell Tinkham and was completed in 1910 by the United States Lighthouse Service at a cost of $75,000, including the buildings and the land. It is considered one of the most picturesque lighthouses in the United States.

One Bad Place To Be During an Earthquake:
East of the Cascade mountains, the climate is much drier and warmer in summer. This is the view from the top of Steamboat Rock mesa, the water is Banks Lake, formed by Grand Coulee Dam, which flows into the Columbia River. The trail to the top is short (30-45 minutes), but hot, totally shadeless, parts sand (2 steps up, one step back down), and part rocky boot shredding scree. Very picnic worthy.
