How about some antique road show aka ARS! Inspired by Peter from Boston www.flickr.com/photos/23357726@N03/, here I go!
When my grandparents married, my grandfather built grandma a house as a wedding gift. They ordered furniture, kitchen gear etc. from Sears Robuck. It was all delivered in a huge shipping crate. This rocker came from that order and it sat in her parlor for almost 80 years - oh, the stories it could tell!
Much later, when I was a little girl, my grandmother wanted to know what one thing I would like to remember her by. I loved her rocking chairs. Years after she passed and my aunt moved into a retirement facility, I received this rocker.
If I rock in this chair on a quiet day, I swear I hear grandma jabbering away.

This is a picture of me in 1964 ( I think ) taken at a "Scrambling" event in Kent, trying to look "cool"
At the time I was 16 and only had a BSA Bantam, but wanted to buy a Triumph, after I passed my test.
Taken from a very old, c1958, black and white photo which has suffered a lot of damage over the years. Taken somewhere in the Peak District. The one in the middle is my father.
Barbie and the Rockers doll with some of her accessories. Although the pail pink shirt she is wearing under her jacket (with stickers on it) is from the Pink n Pretty Barbie.
This is from a shoot I did a month or two back. Stacy had never modeled before, but was a complete natural. She was exciting and confident, but didn't have a big ego. We put on some loud punk music and went to town.
This is one of her more relaxed poses. There was another set where she's actually jumping up in the air screaming into the mic!
