In conjunction with the launching of the highly anticipated movie of the year “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen”, an exhibition was held at one of my local shopping malls & it attracted a large crowd of people gathering & taking photos of the popular toy figures that were on display.
I guess it didn’t take you long to figure out I was joining the crowd or I wouldn’t have this photo uploaded on Flickr by now. It was a great family event you could notice how happy & giddy the little kids were. Being an adult, it did not deprive me of having my own fun though...mind you, I had a ball taking photos thru my viewfinder that day.
Barricade is my newest Transformer I've acquired. As such, he has to have his photoshoot just like any of the Autobots I've done. I'm an equal opportunity nighttime photographer. Autobot, or Decepticon, makes no difference; you have to pose before my lens.
I need to find a new background though. LOL!
Since most of our pumpkins are getting attacked by critters I picked up some with the kids today to start painting. My son wanted a transformers one. I'm actually happy with the results as I was using old brushes my daughter now uses.
And I do know I left out that back piece on Megatron out as I didn't think it would turn out good.
Getting close to the end with this Transformers lineup, Some consider Shockwave as the true leader of the Decepticons.

Megatron, a gun, a tank?
I wanted to avoid building him just like that, so i concepted an idea based on the animated movie quote:
"Astrotrain, transform and get us outta here!"
i thought it would suit Megs heavy and big character to put him on the rails behind Astrotrain.
There is all sorts of railway guns in history that look a bit like this model.
Also the way he transforms in the cartoon, he scales down to fit in the hands of Starscream or Soundwave, which i always found a bit silly and not suitable for the mighty leader of the Decepticons.
Now he can lay back, relax and get driven around like a true leader :D

Alpha Trion never wanted to get involved in the Autobot/Decepticon War. Though he was clearly an Autobot, he prefers to spend his remaining years in seclusion. But, don't be fooled. This wise Transformer still has plenty of fight left in his Spark. And Sovereign is there to give it an extra boost.
