Minifig scale ED 209. Close but the arms need some work and I need gray curves for the legs.

I just wanted to use that headpiece and this seemed like as good a scene as any. Emil's skin is less deformed in the movie but Lego doesn't make any melted skin face attachments as far as I know ;)
I think this might be V4 of the suit I'm making. So many duds along the way, this is the cleanest complete body so far.
This one was a bit of a disaster. The good helmet I was working on got completely munted and during a test cast I ended up stuffing up some other pieces too. Such is life I guess, I've learnt some lessons.

We are still alive!
We are glad to present our new work, based on the famous android from Terminator 2! OK...bad joke! :)
We started the building in summer of 2019 thinking that we could complete it for Christmas...well, we managed to do it but on Christmas of the year after! There were a lot of interruptions during the building due to our jobs but fortunately we did it.
We really hope you like it!

Not quite the scene from the movie but close. This particular scene had the "I'd buy that for a dollar" ad, I just changed it to the 600 SUX one since I was trying to build the car anyway. Some pretty average photoshop skills used to insert the images but you get the idea :)
The weather has been nasty and so has my cold, not the conditions to wander around in nature. As a result, I have been experimenting with photos from the past using my Photoleap app. Better days are coming.

Probably my last figure of the year, is CoboRop. This figure was sculpted entirely with Procreate and painted with Testors. His gun is from Brickarms.
"We can have ED-209s in place all over the city and expect immediate public support. I've got one downstairs guarding the building now."

I think the car is supposed to be black, but it always read as dark grey in my head, and I catered to my nostalgic memory as opposed to reality.

For me these guys were the most memorable in the chase scene of the movie.
Excuse the crappy paintwork on Clarence and Joe. What else would you include in the "play set"? I've tried to keep the concept purist except for the modified heads, Murphy's vest and decals. All of which aren't necessary. The Harry Potter Head works OK for Clarence. There are different options that work equally as well I think.
The bad dudes and the money fit into the van with room for 2 more guys. The police car fits Murphy and Lewis with a small amount of room for some stuff in the back seat.
I've made the .lxf files for the van and car and intend to post them so that others can reenact this fun scene in their own homes. Sure you design one yourself if you want, but for those of you who can't be bothered... ;)
WIP This is heavily updated to make it more playable. The roof can be tilted and the side doors slide freely but can also be moved independently by a tab under the floor.
It needs some refinement but I don't really know what to focus on first. Any ideas welcome :)
