1997’s Robo Master, the Big One from the bizarre RoboForce sub-theme!
That neon dome! And all the prints! It’s like a better version the Blacktron 2 pods, but it’s on this weird Beast Wars mecha. And it doesn’t detach to fly off. Bummer.
What does detach to fly off is pretty cool for how simplistic it is: a smaller Unitron Star Hawk II (#1789). A set design from another far superior Space sub-theme.
I don’t mean to hate on RoboForce this much, it looks cool, has tons of prints, neon transparent elements, and great minifigs with leg prints and updated helmet sculpts! All of that is awesome!
But why wasn’t this designed as a spacecraft? It would have been among the best. LEGO hadn’t figured out Mechs in ‘97, but they sure have now.
Final thought, what was the tail thing?
A weapon? A ‘robot’? A charger for the spacecraft?

I painted the images of the Holly and candy in GIMP. I then inserted this image into the Robomaster program so I could find the outline. I then used the print and cut feature with my Silhouette SD. I plan on having the die cuts available in my Etsy shop next week. Thanks for looking.
I did it! I took a piece of cardstock that had been used before and had 2 stamped images on it and cut around them like you would with the cuttle bug! Tutorial on my blog to tell you how if you are interested: papercraftsotherartwork.blogspot.com/2010/07/cutting-stam...
Sam Riopelle, a junior at the University of Washington, is president of the Advanced Robotics team. Originally from Wasilla, Alaska, he is studying mechanical engineering. He is posing with the fifth version of the design he team created for the internatinoal RoboMasters competition, which he demonstrated at the AWB Manufactuirng Summit Oct. 5 in Seattle. Ernie built this robot for me. He lives up in the loft and rules over all the other robots up there.
He's very shiney and silver, but looks red in the loft-light. He is quite big ( I suspect that he is built using modular Oxo-box Technology). He has pom-pom eyes and many additional glittery things.
I am very proud of my robot that Ernie made for me.
This photo fulfills requirement 2 and 5 of assignment 3.
To take this picture, I used reverse lens macro technique to use my 24-105mm lens as macro lens. To reduce motion blur due to unstable lens mount and shaky hand, I used faster shutter speed and higher ISO. The STM32 chip and components with same vertical position are in focus, while other components are out of focus.
RoboMaster EP Core

The Robomaster shaping centres allow fully automatic 4- directions bending and the production of any type of shapes, including those with positive and negative bends. Moreover, the bar holding clamps allow independent operations of the two bending units assuring save of time during the production of shapes. It is equipped with wide feeding track consisting of motorised and rubber-coated rollers, bar loaders and unloaders, 2 bending units, one fixed and one mobile2 bending units, one fixed and one mobile, one stop plate for zeroing the bars for each bending unit, ejection cylinder to remove the tools from the toothed part, operation by means of servomotors.
Capacity with split formers: n° 1 barra Ø 40mm; n° 2 barre Ø 32mm.
Capacity with mandrel (optional): n° 1 barra Ø 50mm; n° 3 barre Ø 32mm.
