We have the technology. We can rebuild him.

This Calico Kitty's eyes match her mood. She was not happy one bit with having visitors invading her home!

Atomic Robo is one of my favorite comics right now. If you've never read it or heard of it, go out and buy it now. Robo is the fictional creation of scientist Nikola Tesla, created in the early 1900s. All the stories are in miniseries format, some depicting present day and others depicting various times of his life. He fights monsters, vampires, robots, and the occasional talking dinosuar. Seriously, check it out, its good stuff.

What's more dangerous than a raptor?

A raptor with guns.

This time I used Garry's technique for the front legs and extended Logan's technique with the technic visor. The rest is my design. The lower toothed jaw is not connected to anything and is hooked around part 32039 but it holds tightly.

I'm out of ideas on how to cover the back of it's head (maybe a folded cape?), so any suggestions are welcome in the comments.

I wanted to take one more photo before the end of the year.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Some fun shots with the new minifigures on the Death Star.

"Put down your weapons or there will be...trouble."

('Trouble' in this case meaning a triple burst of 9mm to the chest, just FYI).

I found my old NECA Robocop after I thought I'd lost or misplaced him for a couple of years. Now he's sitting right next to my monitor where I can keep an optical sensor on him.

I loved Peter Weller and Arnold Schwarzenegger's robotic performances in Robocop and the first Terminator. Quite unnerving and fascinating the way they rotated their bodies and swivelled their limbs, their physical performances were fantastic. These days robots in film are mostly done with motion capture and it doesn't feel the same to me, it's too fluid. There is a reasonable assumption that robots in the future will naturally move in much more fluid and anthropomorphic ways, that makes sense but I dunno, it loses its fascination. If something does a perfect job of behaving like a human then you respond as if it's human. If Skynet for instance could create a 100% convincing terminator unit then it's game over, the fight for survival comes from the cyborgs being somewhat or almost human.

It's that 'uncanny valley' that makes robots cool for me. Maybe I'm just old and rambling on about my youth... What do you reckon?

Everyone loves trains, even robots!

The Universe is a different place now, we have robots calling the shots so best you yield or else you shall feel the wrath of a new robotic kick ass crew.

Made to fit into a 10x10x10 cube. The driver design has appeared in my photo stream on more than one occasion before, but now I've updated it once more.

To me this looks like a computer game of some sort. Moorhuhn Kart racing maybe. Not much thought put into this MOC, just pure entertainment value. Enjoy!

Promotional artwork for Gobots, during its European line in the 80s. Though the branding was Robo Machine.

Often you’d see this in the Super Gobots packaging, that were window boxes, but had a book-like flap covering the product.

So I do build :) I've always wanted to make one of these, but I never got around to trying some of the concepts that I've seen many others use. That, and I have been extremely un-motivated to build ever since I started really getting into figures. I think this came out pretty decently, but the only thing I think it lacks is a better foot design, but the ones here are alright anyways. I might build more of these since I enjoyed building this one.

Thanks to Will for making his products, especially the chrome ones which he gave me awhile ago that I have yet to use well. All the chrome except for the swords are from his generosity! Brickarms used: Chrome ammo chain links, chrome tac sword, chrome bipods (legs), chrome bayonet, chrome monopod, minigun tip and barrel, titanium u-clips, and a black u-clip (front).

I'd like some C&C on this, I thought I did a good job but there is always room for improvement (especially on first time concept builds). I have a lot of other Moc's lying around, but I'll need to motivate myself to finish them. I also might enter the BAF contest, so keep your eyes out for my entry!

Inspired by [IB], and other mech/hardsuit builders are added for other inspiration and feedback on what they do well. Photo setup inspired by General JJ.

Enjoy, and please comment if you fave!

These crews are growing in numbers and here is another set of robots applying the same game.

They are equipped and able to handle everything and everyone. Please stand aside, and welcome them.

This was part of their self built super fluffy tissue nest. Those thready stuff used to be the sisal bit of the ball Pie received on her birthday (thanks again Cindy).

Online and ready to party!

Taken with an iPhone 3GS. As the night drew to a close I noticed this little guy giving me the Oliver Twist, "Please sir, can I have another" look. I obliged. He finished it off. Lush.
