The track used in Robot Race.

A few students and researchers at NUI Maynooth have put together an autonomous robot football team over the past years. Their 'training ground' is just next door to my office and last week they did a public demonstration.

More info about the autonomous robotics research on the Robo Eireann webpage.

Debería haberla titulado "el robador robado", pués mientras hacía esta y otras fotos de la procesión del Corpus en la Plaza de las Pasiegas me robaron la cartera.

Giant Robo (4-inch mini vinyl) by Bear Model c. 2000?

I finally finished Michelle's birthday painting! A robotic moogle! (He was going to be saying "Kup0", but it turns out that I hate painting letters).

This is painted on some old plaque I got a thrift store, hence the big wooden plaque with the hangy rope. I love buying these things and painting over them.

This game was a new arrival and I was hooked on it right away. It had a great soundtrack that honestly reminded me quite a bit of Total Nuclear Annihilation!

The robot on the left is from Robonimal Panda-z Mini Figure Collection 2.

I pulled the woman from part of a Otoko No Tashinami mini figure set. I posted a photo earlier of one of them.

In the background is a Dodge Challenger Matchbox die-cast car I've had since I was a kid. The copyright on the bottom is 1976. The flames are from the Panda-z box.

Although I still have a lot to do here, I think Robo Cock will end up being the #1 highlight of my trip.

Robot sculptures I made for holiday 2008 gifts, built from lighting fixture components, bolts, wires and other odds and ends purchased from the local Habbitat for Humanity shop.

Purdue's AAE 439 Propulsion class built two rockets: a LOC Nuke Pro Max (aka Robo-Peter), and a Quest Big Dog. The Big Dog teleported off the pad on an F42T; here, the Nuke is lifting off on an F27R for a good flight to a Telemini-reported 462'.
