The Shaun in the City trail was held in London in April / May 2015.
Robo Shaun is seen in front of the Royal Exchange at Bank in the City of London. A band was getting ready in the background! This Shaun was designed by Tim Sutcliffe and sponsored by Haseltine Lake.
Did anyone see those 1980's robotic dinosaur exhibits at museums? The babies remind me of robo dinosaur/hamsters now! They run all over the cage but have this very unsteady type of run, and they stand up real tall. Their eyes are still closed, so now they run into things then "yell" at them and open their mouths in a display of aggression. Then they usually wind up exerting too much energy so they fall over onto their backs with their legs kicking in the air.
I don't think anyone told them they're too tiny and adorable to be scary.
In 'Christmas Angels', a wonderful little shop in York.
My Dad has loads of these little tin robots. He wrote a few books a couple of years ago for The Chicken House publishing house, including an A-Z of 'Robotz' for kids. These tin beauties are all over his shed, in our garden.
Whatever happened to the Space Age, eh? I want a mechanical nanny to do our housework!
You need to be some sort of PHD to figure out how to use the seating controls in Air Canada's Executive First Class. It took me awhile, but I found a comfortable setting to last me the flight :P Taken aboard an Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER on flight AC4, an 8 and a half hour flight from NRT Narita International Airport, to YVR Vancouver International Airport, that was actually completely full! Even Executive First Class, which rarely ever happens. Why do so many people want to leave Japan :P? I'll never know!
